COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

In bottiglia all’O Connor; una buona IPA, ribevuta in cask all’Open mi è piaciuta meno

On cask at JDW, Stoke. Not usually my style but this is a hop and sweet overdose for an IPA. Very refreshing and different. Enjoyable and more interesting than a normal IPA.

Cask @ The Wharf, Aalborg. Clear golden pour with a bubbly White head. Aroma is mainly citrus focused American hops, a sharp zesty lemon touch, unripe pineapple and orange. Taste is bitter, very hoppy. Still citrus, orange and pineapple. Also has a malty feel, basic malts and a hint og breadiness, the malts also give a large sweetness. Slightly astringent in the finish.

Draft at Churchkey. Clear, light amber pour with a small fizzy head. Nose holds light lemon, woody tea-like and herbal notes, and some nice toasted malt. Flavor brings more of that nice light citric presence, as well as rosemary and perfume. Smooth and unique; I must say a nicely made English IPA breaks the monotony of US hops quite nicely. Good stuff.

Murky yellow, stark white head.Intense bead.Skunky, cat piss nose. A one dimensional bitter palate, no malt to back it up. Waste of time and money

500ml brown bottle. Pale gold colour, hazy. Small frothy white cap, good lace. Mixed citrus nose - some orange peel and lemons. Taste has a malty backbone, a little biscuity, some caramel, hops are lemony with a leafy edge. Nice finish with lengthy citrus bitterness. Aftertaste of lemon, grapefruit and grass. Light bodied, mellow carbonation. Pretty fresh tasting, probably the best true IPA i’ve had from the UK.

Bottle. Pale yellow gold, hazy, towering white head. The hops deliver a nice aroma and flavor of lemon rind with subtle field flower accents, ending in a dry, long, pithy bitterness. Mouthfeel is soft. A beautiful example of a British IPA.

500ml bottle pours a cloudy golden color with a decent white head and some thin lacing. Aroma is mostly citrusy hops. Taste is predominantly a hoppy bitterness with an underlying malty sweetness. Decently balanced IPA with a nice body and some generous carbonation.
