COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

@ ACBF 2011. The aroma has flowery and grassy hops. Bit hazy, golden coloured beer with a white head. The taste has a good clean bitterness, bit malts, some grass and flowers. Light bodied. Nice one.

From a bottle poured into a pint glass. A - lemon peel and citrus with a musty cat piss as it warms up. A - Clear yellow/gold with a hint of copper. Nice thick white head that lingers around. T - Starts minerally and grassy at the front, ending with bitter pink grapefruit. Out of the bottle, it is slightly alliaceous, I donít remember that taste out of a cask though. P - Dry and bitter the whole way through. Medium body. I would rate this a little lower, but put in a lineup of other New World hopped English Ales, I always seem to choose it for some reason. I can never drink more than one though.

Bottle from great grog. Pours yellow with thin white head. Smells a bit like a shandy, some lemon hop aroma, bit yeasty. Taste is quite lagery. Caramel malt character, yeast present, not the hopiest of ipas, more true to English style. Moderate bitter finish. Well balanced overall. Prefer out a cask

slightly hazy yellow color. nice loose bubbly head, very white and sudsy looking. smells of slight amonia, almost cat-pissy, but in a good way! Nice English grassy/lemony hop aromas. Not much malt. taste follows smell, but less cat-piss in the mouth. very dry, pretty bitter, slight lemony-malt happening in the middle. light and crisp mouthfeel with good carbonation.

Tap @ The Draft House. Pours pale golden with a small white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is fruity, citric, a bit piny, floral and hoppy. Flavor is spicy fruity, malty, citric, grapefruit and bitter. Finishes with a longlived bitter fruity aftertaste.

Countbeer (4302) - Best of E-Town mit ein Brauhaus, NETHERLANDS - SEP 15, 2011
Bottle: Small white head on top of a light cloudy bright yellow colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, bitter, fruit, hint of yeast. Taste hops, citrus, peach, flowers, herbs, pretty crisp, lemon, hint of yeast: well balanced. Good bitter hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel and a creamy sticky texture. Soft smooth and lovely bitter, half a liter, what a luck!

Sept, 2011 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Initially soft, juicy and fresh. Lots of lively, pleasant citric notes. Itís a fragrant summerís day. Then the bitterness comes in, and settles down like an uninvited troll. Way too many hops for my personal preference. Not my thing at all. [2.0]
June 2012 Coal Hole, The Strand. With Nuffield. Citric lovely. Soft. Blonde. Toffee. [3.0]

Bottle: I had heard good things on this ale and had high expectations the bottle version tasted like a strong fizzy lager - would never buy another. Tried on Cask at Euston Tap, this was better.
