A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

50cl bottle. Pours a clear yellow straw color with a huge soapy white head. Long lasting foam. Aroma is hoppy with tropical fruits and some grass. Very nice. Taste is a bit disappointing though: the bitterness is very mild and not anywhere near where I’d like it to be in an IPA. Flavours are quite balanced between malty sweetnes and hoppy bitterness. Grassy and floral. Thin in body and lively carbonation. Overall, it’s a 50/50 beer to me. Everything is great except for the flavour, which really laks in hops profile, bitternees, and fruity notes.

Bottle [500ml]. Pours a cloudy yellow with an average size long-lasting fluffy white head. Good lacing on the glass. Pleasant aroma of grassy hops, lightly sweet and yeasty along with biscuity malt, herbs and lemon. Flavour of grassy hops and yeast along with some tropical fruit, biscuity malt, herbs and a big bitter finish. Medium bodied. Pretty enjoyable stuff. -- Rated via Beer Buddy.

Pours a cloudy light straw yellow with a medium frothy white top and great lacing. Aroma is light citrus, grain and pineapple. Taste is light, medium body. Nice tart citrus hop bitterness with hay like grain of the malt. Very solid IPA.

500ml bottle from the LCBO, generously shared by garthicus. Cloudy yellow with a flock of white floaties, smallish fizzy-foamy off-white head. Aroma of a tangy grassy UK golden ale, albeit a much hoppier than average one, detectable alcohol, and I swear a Belgian Golden character about the yeast too; not too sweet, mostly sharp and spicy, underlying fruit - apricot? Taste follows, the fruit seems like unripe pineapple, quite a nice balance of mild alcohol, lighter fruit, inoffensive graininess and plenty of oily grassy bitterness - subtle and well blended. Average body, solidly carbonated, lightly astringent, fairly long spicy/grassy finish - not world beating, but I suspect that I could drink buckets of this on cask. I plan to do that in August IF I CAN JUST FIND SOME PLACE IN LONDON WITH THIS ON CASK THEN!!!

Bottle from LCBO. Decent enough well balanced IPA. Some hop up front, and then some nice peach backing. Strong carbonation, pours yellow.

Cloudy amber with one finger of offwhite head. Nose is oxidized and aged, not sure how fresh this is. Herbal and piney hops on the nose with a bready character. Lightly bitter with lots of herbal and leafy hops. Hope to try this again.

From a bottle pours a lovely golden straw colour, with a very robust head. Hops hit the nose, grapefruit, grass, wheat. Creamy mouthfeel, wee bit bitter. Nice beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Slightly hazy pale beer, white head. Nice hoppy fruity aroma and taste with some underlying sweetness. Rather dry and bitter.
