A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

UPDATED: DEC 30, 2012 (Sample from 50 cl bottle at CBF) Pours a clear golden with little white head and lace. Aroma is resiny hoppy. Oily texture with a full body, medium carbonation and a slightly sweet, malty finish. Taste is mildly bitter ith sweetness. Okay but I prefer hops that are more tropical fruit and less leafy.

Light golden colour and small white head. Average body and carbonation. Both aroma and taste are citrus hops, not too intense, it’s well balanced. A bit spicy, good beer overall.

Bottle: Poured a hazy deep blonde color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some pretty good lacing. Aroma of floral hops with light dry notes with clean cereal notes is quite enjoyable and seems to be split between an American and British IPA. Taste is also a great mix between some floral and hoppy notes with a dry finish with some clean cereal notes with some light residual sugar coming through. Body is about average with good carbonation. Love the mix between citrus hops and floral dry British hops notes.

IPA inglesa, que entra muy bien, con sabores cítricos y un leve amargor. Al final deja un pequeño toque aceitoso.

500 mL bottle. Pours a cloudy bright straw yellow, a seriously fluffy white head with lots of lacing. One of the best looking beers I have had in a while. Big hit of citrus on the nose, lemon, grapefruit, straw and coriander. A Lighter style of IPA, appropriately sweet with a bright acidity and bitter finish. Very well balanced. Medium bodied with a slightly sticky mouth feel. Really enjoyed this one, will be keeping and eye out for more Thornbridge products.

Cask at Alla Spina. Cloudy orange with a thick light tan head. LIght floral, citrus hop aroma. Taste of yeast funk, light citrus from the hops, and musty otter taint.

[Cask at Chippenham BF] Deep gold. Lots of peach up front. On tasting it’s very mellow and relaxing, with an orangey fruitiness developing. Sweeter and less aggressive than most IPAs, but very tasty and satisfying. Relatively mild bitterness to finish. Lovely beer, really enjoyed this. c4

5.9% gold colour with a good head, the aroma is of oranges and hops, very hoppy taste with an orange aftertaste.

Looks like a nice witbier - hazy, hazy, hazy. Initial taste is very non-deScript. Felt overly carbonated with a hint of citrus and very little bitterness. Lingering taste is just a late appearing hint of hoppiness and not much else. Certainly, at $3.45 a bottle I won’t be buying this again. Not when there are so many better locally produced IPAs available for so much less.
