A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Looks like a nice witbier - hazy, hazy, hazy. Initial taste is very non-deScript. Felt overly carbonated with a hint of citrus and very little bitterness. Lingering taste is just a late appearing hint of hoppiness and not much else. Certainly, at $3.45 a bottle I won’t be buying this again. Not when there are so many better locally produced IPAs available for so much less.

bottle. Pours light golden/orange, cloudy with sediment. Aroma is light, mostly fruit, citrus, pineapple. The malt in the taste is very muted, mostly hops, bitter citrus, aome light sweet honey. Good beer, but not great.

Tap at Rustico. Fresh floral hop nose with a touch of citrus oil. Dry crisp malts, bright snappy citrus and floral hops, yeast is just a touch dirty. Excellent beer.

Hazy, straw coloured pour with half a finger of white foam. Scents of lemon grass, tangerine, lime and candy floss. Tangerine, slight grapefruit, lemon grass and honey in the flavour. Smooth across the palate and a mildly bitter finish

500mL lickbow bottle. Pours a bright, hazy yellow with a large white head. Aroma of sharp pine, mild fruity malt undertone, and a hint of yeast. Nice. Flavour has a lot of bittering hops as well as some good citrusy bite to it. Malts are there but are definitely drowned out by the hop aspects, but there is some honey-like sweetness which is quite nice. Feels lighter on the palate which I don’t mind, and the carbonation is in check. The floral aspect mixed with the mild sweetness and dry yeast character blend elegantly in the finish. This is a pretty solid beer, I’d argue it is at least somewhat of an IPA, just not in the vain of the American variety of the style. Worth paying for, but the high price might prevent me from purchasing again.

Pours a light cloudy yellow with lots of sediment. Clean hop aroma. Taste - earthy, floral and grassy hops up front with a touch of lemon. A moderate sweet malt backbone that balances it quite nicely. A bit of a soapy aftertaste but overall pretty solid IPA. Didn’t know what to expect with an English IPA.

Had at the angel near that London tube station. Decent. Clear gold, white head nice retention. Grapefruit and toffee nose. Silky body and feel at first then turns a bit gritty. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle: poured a clouded pale straw colored ale in the glass - great puffy 2 finger white cacop lasts and laces the glass well. Modest carbonation. Aroma is demure but very pleasant - fruity, citrus, pale biscuit malts, some mustiness. Light body and palate but very citrusy and hoppy not much sweetness. Front side is mainly hop dominated with the malts in the background - citrusy - soft mouth, clean bitter and dry finish with a hint of honey as malts show through. This is a wonderful light IPA made for thirst busting.
