Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

From a chilled bottle. Poured a slightly cloudy orange amber hue with a thin white head that faded to a small coating but had some nice lace. Really liked the cloudiness. Aroma had a subtle malt note, caramel, and mostly grassy hops, some bitterness detected. Flavor seemed to have more of a floral hops presence some bitterness. Easy to drink and slightly dry in the finish. Enjoyed it but i think I would have enjoyed it more if I did not have it chilled.

Had this one at the ACBF 2011. Golden colored brew. Grassy hops in aroma and flavor, moderate bitterness. Very drinkable.

Cask at The Dandelion. Pours a slightly hazy golden yellow color with a 1.5 finger frothy white head that has excellent retention, only slowly fading into a lasting cap that coats the glass with sheets of chunky, soapy lacing. Delicate floral hop aroma that is nicely balanced by a toasted biscuit malt backbone. Slightly earthy with hints of grass and pine needle as well as some faint citrus peel. Slightly creamy with a nice graham cracker/biscuit malt character countering the earthy/floral notes. Creamy medium body that is fuller than expected with a crisp floral hop bite up front that isnít too bitter, lingering over the malt backbone into a slight dry finish. Slightly earthy without being cloying or too dry or bitter with subtle sweet citrus notes and a perfect biscuity malt backbone. Although there is a prominent malt presence underneath, it isnít overpowering and the hops are given plenty of room to shine through. All of the hop flavor without the tongue-coating dryness. Perfectly balanced yet this beer is one of the hoppiest British beers Iíve ever had. The drinkability of this beer is off of the charts. I drank the first imperial pint so quickly that I needed to order a second to go with my meal. I love real ales on cask but am not the biggest fan of English IPAs. This beer was a perfect example of both. I highly recommend that you seek this beer out on cask if you have the chance.

From tap@Schouskjelleren, Oslo. Clear, deep gold, topped by low creamy blond head. Clean aroma of semi-dry, lightly toasted malts and fresh citrussy and floral/grassy hops. Taste is crisp malty with a light and refined sweetness. Clean and tight hop bitterness. Some nice fruity and earthy flavoring hops too. Slick in the mouth. Bold, lasting hop bitter ending. A very good one. Powerful, yet elegant and fully balanced.

Bottle @ Torben Mathews tasting, Randers Brewery. Deep golden yellow with an orange glow and a white head. Lovely aroma of hops where citrus and grapefruit are the dominant. Moderately bitter taste and aftertaste. All in all nice and refreshing

golden orange with large white head. nose of citrus hops. firm bitterness before very mild malt sweetness prior to a lot of citrus hop notes with touch of herbal. a very strong american ipa brewed by an english brewery, which would likely be even better if fresh. comparable to brew dog in terms of west coast ipa accuracy

Tap at Schouskjelleren shared with esp0r. Hazy light yellow, almost like lemonade. Decent white head though. Aroma of bread, some hops, and wet clothes. Sweet taste of malt and apples. Very good hoppy bitterness.

Cask. Clear golden body, white head.Aroma of grassy and floral hops with some piney notes. Some malt, but not too caramelized. Very bitter, flavour seems to disappear in the bitterness. Some grapefruit, hard to say. Not balanced.

500ml bottle split with mcberko. Pours golden yellow. Citrus, pine hops, subtle soapy flavour. Improves after first few tastes. Tried it since, on tap, and prefer it.
