A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Tap @ The Draft House. Pours pale golden with a small white head leaving some lacing. Aroma is fruity, citric, a bit piny, floral and hoppy. Flavor is spicy fruity, malty, citric, grapefruit and bitter. Finishes with a longlived bitter fruity aftertaste.

Bottle: Small white head on top of a light cloudy bright yellow colored beer. Smell hops, citrus, bitter, fruit, hint of yeast. Taste hops, citrus, peach, flowers, herbs, pretty crisp, lemon, hint of yeast: well balanced. Good bitter hoppy and fruity aftertaste. Low carbo, medium to full body, creamy mouthfeel and a creamy sticky texture. Soft smooth and lovely bitter, half a liter, what a luck!

cask at Get Real NY - light sweet malts, light citrus notes, floral and spice. Taste is a bit mineral and metallic. Dry finish. Alright.

Sept, 2011 Bottle from Beers of Europe. Initially soft, juicy and fresh. Lots of lively, pleasant citric notes. It’s a fragrant summer’s day. Then the bitterness comes in, and settles down like an uninvited troll. Way too many hops for my personal preference. Not my thing at all. [2.0]
June 2012 Coal Hole, The Strand. With Nuffield. Citric lovely. Soft. Blonde. Toffee. [3.0]

Bottle: I had heard good things on this ale and had high expectations the bottle version tasted like a strong fizzy lager - would never buy another. Tried on Cask at Euston Tap, this was better.

Tap @ stem & stein - pours a clear pale gold. Aroma is faint citrus & yeast. Taste is metallic and mildly bitter. The bitterness lingers so the beer becomes more bitter as you drink it. Its OK, a bit simple and one note for me.

Hazy straw/gold color; Light to medium slightly creamy body; Aroma of citrus hops, floral, & spice; Flavor of slight sweet malt, pine/grassy hops, and citrus (notably lemon & grapefruit); Finish is slightly bitter; Nicely balanced; Overall, refreshing - pretty decent.

Draft @ beernutz. Poured a yellowish color. Med head. Fresh floral/citrus aroma. Lite sweetness, and med lite bitter. Ave carbonation. Dry and bitter finish. Creamier texture. Pretty good.

bottle from Waitrose Sidmouth. Hazy, rather pale yellow colour with a mid-sized head. Lovely hop aroma. Medium-bodied, solid malty base, rather dry palate, lots of spicy hops but not as hoppy as other IPAs, especially US ones. Delicious anyway.

Cask at GBBF2011 delightful example of the style. Full, rounded, refreshing, well conditioned. Citrus aroma and flavour almost overwhelming. Great British beer at a great British beer festival. Bravo!
