3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Sampled at Beerfestival 2006, Horsens. Cask. Pours an unclear yellow beer with a a small offwhite head. The aroma is hops (pineneedles) and some malty sweetness. The flavor follows the nose closely with additional notes of flowers. The palate is bitter. Overall a really nice cask conditioned IPA.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear golden, 5mm of white head. Nice lacing. Aroma is quite sweet, caramel malts, surprisingly subdued fruity and citrusy hops. Flavour is balanced so nicely, quite a long sweet malty beginning before the hops kick in. Caramel, some resin and pine needles, sweet citrus, more mandarin than grapefruit, some spices. Medium body, refreshing carbonation, yet quite smooth. Lovely IPA.

Bottle. Lovely hoppy aroma on opening which is a great start. Hops are present but donít take control as they often do with this style.Other flavours are present including fruits ans spices. A complex and lovely beer.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Rattle N Hum. Very pale golden colour. Aroma is quite lovely. Soft spicy hop nose with a little bit of floral character as well. Crisp minerally malts with a very light crackery smell. The flavour is well balanced with a combination of oranges and spice over the crisp malts. A little bit of grapefruit and resinousness as well. Long hoppy finish. Itís nothing crazy, but it is a nice hop accented IPA with a lot more bitterness than most UK-style IPAs. A solid cask.

Bottle. Extremely clear light amber with a little thick lacing yet vanishing head. Fruity & spicy hoppy nose, with a nice sweet malt note. Very bitter beer, perhaps a bit too rough.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
On cask at Firkin Fest at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul, Minnesota. Had a light golden/orange pour with some light citrus and hop bitterness with a little grapefruit in the finish. Well blended brew but was very under-carbonated at the festival. Pretty good but the carbonation took away quite a bit making the brew a bit too fruity.
