Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Excellent IPA - with a rich hoppy bouquet. Well balanced malty body with fine noble hop aromas. Light carbonation with off white head. Golden in colour. Easy to drink - and very refreshing IPA. Aftertaste, hoppy - some maltiness - but light. Pretty clear considering it is unfiltered.

Wow. What a fantastic IPA. Bright orange body with a nice off white head. The aroma is sweet and hoppy with a light citrus fruit. The middle has sweet honey and light malts and the finish is primarily an English hop. A beautiful beer and a fantastic IPA.

Pours a decidedly hazy but brilliant sunshine yellow with plenty of lacing. Lightly sour and grassy aroma - pilsen malt? Tastes of pilsen malt and grassy hops (surprise!) but with a touch of spice. Light, creamy mouthfeel and moderate to well carbonated. Light and extremely refreshing, and ever so drinkable. Yum!

This beer pours a yellow golden with a white head and is quite hazy. It resembles a hefe. The nose is a mix of hops with citrus and sulphur. Tastes are citrus hop dominated with lots of sweetness. This British IPA stands up very well to some very good American versions. The hops are plentiful and tasty. All kinds of citrus with oranges and grapefruit standing out. A bit of sulphur from European hops and a bit of spice, too. It began quite bitter and the European hops stood out. The bitterness settled and citrus took over after it warmed a bit. Again, this was good!

500ml bottle from 16th Street Liquor in West Vancouver. Pours a very light yellow with quickly receding white head. Aroma is very grassy hops with a tiny sweet malt backing. Taste is more grassy hops, little malt back and a cloying sweetness. Finish lingers well with bitterness. Decent IPA, very English in style but still solid.

Cask at GBBF 2011, 3rd day. Deep clear gold. Soft bubbles. Nice, fruity, peppery hop nose. Sweet honey malts, big grassy hops, huge bitterness, kicking in late in the finish more and more. Very nice.

On tap at the GBBF 2011. Thick creamy white head. Pale golden pour. Lovely bitterness

Appearance is clear shining gold with 1 finger head and good retention. Aroma is herbal, floral hops, very mild, also a hint of citrus. Taste is floral, resiny, and honeylike with an herbal/grassy hop finish. Body is medium, oily, below avg carb, juicy finish very smooth. Overall, a subtle and tasty IPA that is both highly quaffable and exotic.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2013 bottle shared@home: clear yellow with a white head, full-on bitter citrus flavor, flight floral, substantial malt body, very briefly a slight bitterness at first with some minor caramel & caramel, followed by a mouth filling citrus bitterness, definitely English, nice, bottle good until 13.6.2011 ///// Consumed a whole pint of this one @ ’t Antwaerps Bierhuyske. Served from keg into the appropriate Thronbridge glass. This one was a blast to drink, gulping down like water I get the perfect amount of hops. Highly juicy with lychees, floral and white grapes notes. Sweet like honey & caramel feel with the necessary hoppiness but none of that punishing American brutality, this one is like an old friend you could drink forever. Far better shape than prior & no meanness due to comparisons with their Kipling. This one aptly gets to rise from 3.9 to 4.5 this time around.

Not an overwhelming or strong IPA, but still has a lot of flavor to offer. Leans more towards an English Pale Ale than an IPA. Very refreshing.
