A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

(500mL from LCBO) Poured cool, a pale yellow-gold somewhat cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma dominated by hops, particularly grapefruit rind, a bit of grass and pine, faint malt sweetness. Flavour is bitter, herbal and grapefruit pith, light grainy, fruity malt, peppery on the finish with a mineral chalk character. Mouthfeel is fairly light and overcarbonated. This is a fairly refreshing but not terribly complex IPA, half-way between an English and American style.

Slightly cloudy and clear pale yellow-gold with very fine white head. Better when poured hard to release some carbonation, it’s a little bitter! The grapefruit-pith and grassy bitter taste does not let up, and the aroma shows a little of the same fresh attitude with a rounder profile. There’s lots of subtle flavors under that, pale fruits and a bit of mineral. Certainly herbal and drying on the palate but class act.

pours sort of cloudy with a frothy head and has a really yellow colour. aroma of pine cones but has a really pilsner like aroma. not very complex aroma and sort of reduced. tastes bitter, medium bodied (at best) very leafy flavour. lacks malts and overall a boring beer for the style. has a chalky finish.

Off keg at the exeter arms derby. Tasty basically, not too fizzy and quite hoppy. Well nice.

Had this as a cask of live ale. Poured a beautiful amber with a lacy white head that lingered. Smelled sticky and hoppy with citrus notes. Tastes hoppy and light, with a distinct hoppy stickiness. Citrus and floral notes, with a spicy/peppery hints. Finishes sticky but clean.

Powerfully good nose of herbaceous grapefruit and fig. Pours pale gold with a flufy white head. Flavour is well balanced - sharp, with spruce and citrus and a hint of tobacco smoke balanced with some candied cumquat peel and ending on a long, dry note of fat, fruity malt. Not bad.

Pleasant enough but I was expecting more based on what I’d heard...my bottle poured an sparkling bright yellow - quite suprisingly light. Aromas were balanced between gentle cereals and grassy/floral hops. Taste was mild sweetness overbalanced by punchy sharp bitterness. A bit chalky.

A really well balanced IPA. Effective carbonation with a crisp dry malty body lovely balance of aroma and bitering creates a lovely citrus profile with a pleasantly sweet finish. Extremely drinkable!

my 2nd bottle of this was so much better than the first. Deep hop aroma and taste, doesn’t linger quite as much as I’d like. Prefer more alcohol. Top drink.
