4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle; amber, clear, thin smooth white head; lovely hoppy aroma, all tropical fruits; well carbonated; soft tropical fruit and citrus flavour - orange and soft grapefruit in particular; lots of hops in the dry, moderately bitter finish; incredibly well balanced despite the massive hop presence - it manages to be both delicate and powerful at the same time; really very good indeed.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Botle, 0.5l. Clear pale yellow colour with a medium foamy white head and lively carbonation. Strong, fresh hoppy aroma. Taste is hoppy with citrus and pine notes. Long, strong bitter aftertaste. Overall decent beer but I’m not as impressed as most of the raters.

Cask at Matlock, lasting lemony fruity aroma. Pours pale yellowish, slightly cloudy clearing with thin white head. Similar tasting - pleasant - no carbonation. Need to try bottle.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled. A golden colour with a good-sized foamy white head and lively carbonation. A slightly lager-like aroma, but with dank, resiny hops and a touch of fruit. Nicely dry throughout, with savoury hop flavours and a bitter finish. The alcohol lends balancing warmth and smoothness. A nice change to American-style IPAs.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Very pale straw coloured beer with a short lived white head. Strong citrus aromas and flavours, very hoppy with a long bitter finish. Heavy carbonation, and very thin in the mouth. Easy drinking, but a touch watery I feel... especially for a beer of this strength.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Rated on 5-26-2013. This bottled beer has a large smooth white head with a short retention, hazy pale yellow body, fizzy, fast rising carbonation observed, and spotty amounts of lacing. The aroma is citrus, floral, herbal hops, caramel malt, and fruity. The flavor is lightly bitter, sweet, citrus hops, floral, herbal, and some caramel malt. The mouthfeel is smooth, watery and thin. This is a light-medium bodied beer. A quaffable IPA that is a bit too hoppy tasting for my personal liking. It is worth trying.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear straw colour with a medium white head. Aroma is hop dominated with pineapple, grapefruit and honey, also pine and grass. Taste is bittersweet with punchy tropical fruits like pineapple, grapefruit and lemon, also pine and resin. Medium bodied and average carbonation. A long, dry hop bitterness in the finish. A great beer from Thornbridge, but better on cask

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a completly clear and quite light golden color, topped with a substantial white frothy head that stays for some time. Aroma of citrusy hops is easy to pick up. Starts sweet and slightly fruity, immediately followed by a decent hoppy and bittery taste. Mild hoppiness in the aftertaste. All in all a very nice IPA.
