3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle from PIzza Port Bottle Shop. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Pleasant fruit and citrus aroma. Floral. Near perfumey. Medium body with foamy carbonation. It is very fruity and florally perfumey. It suggests incense. And it’s quite bitter. Extremely different. Extremely tasty.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft. Poured clear copper color with an average frothy white head that was mostly lasting with good lacing. Moderate to heavy citrus and sweet aroma. Medium to full body with smooth texture and soft carbonation. Medium to heavy bitter flavor with a medium to heavy bittersweet finish of moderate to long duration. Solid drinkable brew that exceeded my expectations.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
9/11/12/10//10

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Hazy golden color with a white head. Hop profile is herbal and slightly floral with a slight hint of citrus and grass. Fairly dry nose with just a bit of bread and toasted malt sweetness. The flavor is only midly sweet, too. A bit of bread, some cracker notes, and an okay hop profile. Light bitterness of citrus peel with a light grass flavor to go along with the floral and herbal hop flavors.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Cask conditioned at Merton Summer Beer Fest 06. Orange golden with white bubbly head. Ahhh, you just new this was going to be good as soon as it was poured. The buzz was going around that this was good and to get in quickly, and I was certainly not dissapointed. Citric hoppy, orange zesty notes with a fresh dustiness to the hops. A gentle base carrying the bitterness and more hops, hops, hops. The beauty of it all had me drifting off, thinking of how IPA came about, the Empire, the Jewel in the crown, which was India and particulary The British Redcoats, for whom it was brewed and Rudyard Kipling who documented it with his poetry.<!-- br -->
