A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Head is long and like whipped cream and I can smell the tropical fruits of this one before even starting to rate...so this one gives me a clear invitation. Strong ipa-aroma: caramel malting is strong but fruits balance. Sweet and bitter. Aroma is bit like some beer that you should dilute (God jelp that truly ever happening that we would get a beer like that). Thick and sticky aroma. Nice looks: bit hazy Honey with head like just told you and lacing also. Light to medium body, really soft nice feel, low carbonation, dry and slightly bitter, soft aromatic finish is long and dries towards end. Soft, easy to drink ipa that has light personality, could taste this in summer also, interesting and good.

Gravity, Turf Tavern Autumn Ale Festival. Pale copper, cap of soapy white. Blackberries, grapefruit aroma. Brisk hop flavor, clean soft palate. A refreshing summery sort of ale.

Light gold colour, grassy aroma. Not as in your face as a west coast US ipa, but tasty, easy drinking.

UPDATED: APR 17, 2014 (Bottle). The aroma and taste is very hoppy, floral and fruity. In the aftertaste is a nice dry bitterness. A fresh and tasty beer! Very nice!

Bottle at North Bar, Leeds. Pale, almost transparent yellow amber pour. Floral, citrus nose. Hint of citrus peel. Palate is slightly fruity, grapefruit and lemon with a hint of bread malt to balance it out. Finish is medium bitter, really well-balanced.

CONCLUSION : la vraie ipa, pas celle du old empire de Papy, mais la moderne avec des saveurs, des fruits, des houblons, des saveurs complexes, et tutti quanti … pardon all that kind of things …

UPDATED: DEC 16, 2014 500ml bottle served in a tulip glass. A: Pours a pale and clear yellow color making a medium very bubbled, fluffy soapy white head. Medium to low retention and lots of spotty and soapy lacings left in the glass S: Great in the nose. Wonderful hops. Piny, herby and citric. I would dare to say that the hops profile is quite American. Remind me Citra and Simcoe. Very malty too. Similar to Maris Otter but a bit more crispy T: Very malty upfront with strong notes of pine and citrus hops. Moderate hops bitterness. An English IPA after all. Quite dry and crispy. Not totally made of Maris Otter but it dominates it M: Light and watery body. Medium carbonation. Malty and piny aftertaste O: Great drinkability. Excellent English IPA with an American influence [ BA Review @ 10/19/2013 ]
