Cask: Regular. Also available bottled.
A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Yes, English understated and smooth drinking craftmanship, yet delivers an IBU bitterness that wakes up the taste buds. Enjoyble drinkability, though more of a sipper to save the buds from being shredded. from Premiere Gourmet.

UPDATED: FEB 24, 2013 Re-rate 2/2/13: Bottle sample at a Stone Vertical Epic tasting at Mastikim. Thanks beerandbeyond. Slightly hazy yellow. Hoppy aroma of tropical fruits, quality marijuana and pine needles. Rather dry flavor of fruits hops and a pleasant, moderately bitter finish. Medium-bodied. Good, refreshing and very quaffable. 8/3/7/3/15=3.6

[3/4/11] Bottle at ACBF 2011. Clear golden. Floral aroma. Dry flavor of floral hops and some citrus. Medium-bodied. 7/3/7/3/14=3.4

500ml bottle split with mcberko. Pours golden yellow. Citrus, pine hops, subtle soapy flavour. Improves after first few tastes. Tried it since, on tap, and prefer it.

UPDATED: JUN 1, 2013 Bottle from Mane Liquor. Damn sessionable and thirst quenching IPA. Very easy going without compromising on hop flavour. The balanced nature and low ABV makes it a great summer beer. Good stuff

On draft at The Winking Lizard, Peninsula. Poured a light, cloudy orange with thin white head. Flavor of oranges, grapefruits, grass, and pine. Bitter, dry finish. Thin. Not a bad effort.

Hazy hay-yellow color, small white head. Aroma of light caramel, lemon, sugar and honey. Very bright and well balanced, albeit a bit pedestrian. Taste is very nice, quite organic, citrusy and hoppy. Sweetness is moderate and the bitterness constitute the majority of the taste.Quite nice on a hot day.

UPDATED: JUL 5, 2011 (500ml Bottle) . Drank from a Duvel glass it resembles Duvel ,but without such a charsimatic head and is impersonating Punk IPA @ 6% in flavour (not as vibrant as the old punk though) .Opens surprisingly sappy and syrupy ,reminiscent of an un-fresh American IPA , . Some crisp dryness emerges , complemented by fruity hop air-freshner like bitterness . This IPA ,while pretty plesant lacked some ummph on hops and freshness on texture. One to re8 soon

Pint at Wetherspoons in Reading. Well formed head over a pale golden beer. Light but indistinct citrus aroma. Nice, sweet, citrusy taste with a hint of honey. One of the better English pale beers. Not truly exceptional (I’d still rather have a La Chouffe), but decent.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2014 Re-rate January 3rd 2014. Bottle shared @ Van Moll with Stefan and Erwin van Moll. Clear pale golden color, full sized white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma and taste are lightly malts, hops, nicely bitter but also lightly buttery. Dry finish, average body and carbonation. -- Old rating: I believe I had this at Alvinne CBF 2011. Far from my best IPA’s. Though I admit, coming from England it’s not bad. I just miss the strong almost overpowering hops and (grape)fruit in these type of IPA’s. Not bad, but nowhere near my favorite ones. [Original rating: 6-3-7-3-13].
