A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Bottle conditioned. A hazy yellow beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is quite light with primary notes of citrus, while the flavor is sweet malty with a light touch of citrus, leading to a dry and very bitter end. Nice UK IPA.

Thankks to Duff...The label says Premium IPA not Bitter. Cloudy yellow with small head. Prickly hops, pine scent and minimal malty sweetness. A tad too perfumy and lacking balance in the malt depot. Finishes with some woody tones. Overall its a bit too fizzy, all hops more bittering than flavorfull, little malt, watery and actualy more like a bitter than an IPA.

Blackfriers. Aroma is tropical fruits, hints at sweet mandarin peel and sweet pale malts, alcohol noteable. Taste is similar not overly sweet but a bit too sweet and alcoholic for what i expected. In a head to head the brewdog punk ipa would win hands down.

[cask at EBF 2008] Strong citrusy hops with slight caramel in the nose--crisp. Clear gold with wispy white on top. Excellent balance of bitterness and strong hops flavour with notes of apple, lemon, and cinnamon. Bitter finish that is almost crisp.

On cask at Firkin Fest at the Happy Gnome in St. Paul, Minnesota. Had a light golden/orange pour with some light citrus and hop bitterness with a little grapefruit in the finish. Well blended brew but was very under-carbonated at the festival. Pretty good but the carbonation took away quite a bit making the brew a bit too fruity.

Tap at Paradiso Dupont. Poured a hazy, neon green to straw color with a bibg bubble, bright white head that had little retention and webby lace. Very nice floral hops, lemon zest, lemongrass. Taste is piney bitter, tree bark bitter, lots of lemony EKG hops. Refreshing and very nice.

Draft. Pours yellow with a white head. Flavor of fuggles and EKG hops.. has a tart lemony flavor with some cardboard. Still better than every other English IPA I’ve tried.
