A citrus dominated India Pale Ale, its immediate impression is soft and smooth yet builds to a crescendo of massive hoppiness accentuated by honey. An enduring, bitter finish.

Bottle at home - pale blonde with white head. Aroma - citrus/grapefruit. Taste - citrus. Good hoppy pale ale - but a little bit one note - lacked complexity

Bottle from Waitrose (£2.55). Pale lemon colour. Looking at my previous notes (tap and bottle) Jaipur is a bit hit and miss. It can be great, but this bottle isn't. Tropical, metallic and a bit flat. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Strong pine and grassy like hop aroma with citrus and peaches. Very clear yellow colour with a white head. Looks a bit watery, but the strong taste makes it all up! Sweet piney hops with plums, peaches and a bit of caramel and lots of maltflavours. Little bitter and caramel-sweet aftertaste.

Cask from The Sycamore, Birch Vale, Derbyshire, £3.80/pint. Pours light amber with thick white head. Slow to clear but looked good in the end. Lots of orange and grapefruit in the nose. Smooth drinking and citrus stays strong in the taste but at 5.9 ABV but the alcohol is a little overpowering of the flavour before a long, bitter finish. I enjoyed the first half of the pint more than the second. Decent golden IPA though.

06.07.2015 The Brickmakers Viyana, musluk.

Cask at Spinning Jenny, Manchester Airport. Golden with a creamy white head. Citrus aroma, bitter lemon flavour with an underlying cereal taste. Thick, syrupy mouth feel. Excellent
