Cask at Peterborough Beer Fest. Deep golden. Citric grapefruity hop aroma. Dense and sweet, yet never fruity . Quite intense hoppiness with very sweet buttery malt. Tastes like 9%, drinks like 4%. Thornbridge Hall do great stuff!

Cask, Bodega, Newcastle Upon Tyne.
This had a definite whiff of quality about it. Golden colour with a thin white head.
Inticing aroma with bags of citrus and hop.
Just knew I was going to like this. Very well balanced aromatic hop in the flavour and just very drinkable. Wish I could get this on a regular basis.

Cask at Green Man, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. Pint. Everyone else watching Olympic cycling. Dark gold with a small white head. Citric hop aroma and some grassiness, with a buttery malt background. Sweet, oily malt taste. Mid to strong bitterness. Liked it. But, sorry, lads, I only rated it 3.6.

(Cask at The Rake, Southwark, London, 9 Aug 2008) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, mainly grapefruit. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus (orange, grapefruit), apricots and a generous, citrussy bitterness in the finish. Very nice, very drinkable.

Cask at The Victoria, Birmingham. Looks great, the best lacing you could wish for. Nothing noticeable about the aroma but a decent mix of maltiness and oats in the taste. Decent bitter finish without being dry. Smooth mouthfeel. Very good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Cask conditioned handpump Coach & Horses Dronfield. A really attractive bright gold coloured beer with a white head and lacing. The aroma has lemony hops and a bit of toffee or caramel. The taste has good bitterness and again that hint of caramel. Good but lacking any wow factor.
