Bottle from greystones, Sheffield. Red colour with a respectable off white head. Lagery fruity aroma. Similar taste, but with an additional bite of bitterness. Typical lager palate.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear reddish beer with a decent foamy head. Light hop and fruit aroma. Flavour is hoppy and with an apple flavour. It’s got good body to it and an almost malty finish. Very nice.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from On the Alley, Manchester. Pours a deep amber with a foamy off white head. Aroma is malty, and caramel, with a taste very similar with some bitter aftertaste. Overall, pretty okay Vienna style lager but pretty by the books.

500 ml Bottle
Appearance: Dark ruby with a beige head.
Aroma: Caramel, red apples, toasted bread, grains an a hint of red fruit. slight date/raisin, some bitterness, fruity, toasted bread.slightly bitter finish
Tsste: grains, caramel, mals, medium sweet up front in the finish some light bitterness with some nice hops.
Medium body, medium carbonation,
Good brew in it’s style and a nice twist are the hops in he finish but for that reason it has to be quite fresh.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle bought from Blue Glass, Bedford. Consumed in the comfort of my own dwelling. Germany are beating Brazil 7-0. Back to the beer: the colour is light reddish-brown. Scent of caramel malt and rosehips. Taste is surprisingly fruity and sweet at the front, with a slight bitter edge in the finish and aftertaste. Thin palette, but the carbonation is pleasant on the lips. Not many amber lagers are better than this, a good take on a fairly ordinary style.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
An okay beer from Thornbridge, they are specialized in ipas and english ales, this one is not so good but however okay, lot of grains taste, wheat, citrus.

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Lager rossa con abondante schiuma bianca. Al naso note fruttate e caramellose. In bocca corpo medio e bilanciatura giusta. Sapore maltato con amaro poco persistente. Finale aromatico lungo. Bevuta in botiglia a LLeida nel On The Rocks....peccato che la birra era un po vecchia.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Dark amber, creamy beige head. Smell of caramel, dark fruits, dark malts, dried fruits, hints of citrus. Moderate sweet, some caramel, some dark fruits; goes quite fast over to a medium bitter finish of resins and green leafs. Quite straight forward, not much going on here. Not my favourite from this brewery

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Rehills Newcastle. Pours dark tan colour, thin head. Lovely strong malty flavours, very rich and deep in flavour - I normally tend to enjoy Thornbridge's Pale Ales more than their other styles but this is a really nice departure
