3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bart (2325) - Brussels, BELGIUM - FEB 9, 2012
Bottle @ RBBWG. Golden blond coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a rather small white head. Herby and hoppy hinted aroma. Full palate. Finish is somewhat sweet hoppy and slightly herby hinted. Ok but nothing really special.

Aw shit! The aroma is awesome! Let’s start there shall we? Massively unique blend of tropical and exotic fruits, papayas, nectarines, lemon meringue - just the white stuff, dry grass - lemon grass maybe? It’s been years since I’ve had anything with lemon grass. Odd funk throughout. Maybe a better way to describe this would be to say this in the most positive light: smells like tons of fruit and sharp citrus with the faint smell of gas station fumes mixed in just enough where it works. That seems to sum it up for me as this is a totally new aroma for me. I dig it and want more - maybe just for smelling - I mean the taste is pretty damn fine but this aroma kills. Poured out a clear yellow gold with a big bubbly white cap with plenty lacing and a quick swirl fills up the glass with a new carpet of mesmerizing tiny bubbles that seem blindingly white. The taste is pretty good capturing much of the aroma to savour on my licking machine. Sharp citrus with tropical notes smashes its way into my senses. Piles of mystery fruits of strange textures and shapes I’m sure. Grass, creamy lemon, sharp biting tart bitterness like no other, ginger? Very carbonated leaving the foamy mouth, long tart finish. Very very interesting beer - I’m tempted to say I need to buy a hundred of these but I’m not sure if I’d want more than 2 in a row.

Bottle. White foam and lace on cloudy dark yellow. Hoppy aroma with strong fruit notes; star fruit , pineapple nd nectarine with a certain sharpness cutting through. Flavour is very similar to scent with strong fruit and the same clean sharpness cutting across leaving a refreshing citrus. Pleasant.

20120131 Home (50 cl Bottle): A clear yellow beer with a good, white head. Aroma: Frist a lot of citrus-like hopbitter. But also some grassy notes and a light off-flavour of the use of lot of hops. Taste: starts sweet with a coming hopbitte, which has citrus-like and grapefruit taste. Not a realy fresh taste. A dry bitter aftertaste, which is also a little sticky.

Strong, slightly skunky aroma. The flavor has plenty of hops, with hints of fruit as they mention on the label. I taste some banana, in addition to kiwi, mango, and melon. Very unique.

Bottle. Pale amber with white head. Delicious medium strength hop presence. Familiar Nelson Suav flavour. Malty too. A very well balanced brew with a nice, bitter finish.

0.5l bottle from MyBrewtab. Pours a near-clear golden-yellow body with a small just off-white light bubbly head. Some american hops and grapefruit was the first thing that hit my nose. Also tones of, no, make that lots of cat piss! Slick mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Quite easy to drink this one. Citrus and not least grapefruit dominating flavors with both malty and hoppy tones. Quite bitter but not before the finish. yeah, not to bad. Aha, the label says Nelson Sauvin.. I had a suspicion ;) 13.01.2012

Draft at Toad in the Hole. Foggy yellow gold with small translucent lasting foam. Pungent herbal, floral, spicy nose with light diacetyl. Unexpected honey like malty sweetness holds court with the spicy hop complement, but there are off-putting rancid notes. Medium body and a weirdly soapy finish.
