Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Light golden colour with small white head, taste and aroma are much better than appearence. It’s hoppy, sweet and refreshing. Very easy to drink, I enjoyed.

This is one tasty pale ale! Pours a beautiful golden yellow color with a big lofty white head. Smells of tropical fruit, some malt sweetness - it has a lot of depth and complexity. The taste reflects the nose starting with a little sweetness followed by a pleasant mild bitterness. This drinks the way a pale ale should.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2012 Aroma: Kiwi fruit and lemon meringue.

Appearance: Clear golden body. Small, quickly dissipating head. Very light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Much more vibrant than the aroma suggests. Surprisingly powerful passionfruit flavour. Hints of kiwi fruit, sauvignon blanc wine and lemon grass.

Palate: Thin, watery body. Soft carbonation.

Overall: An unusual, but tasty brew. The taste has more punch than the aroma - lovely tropical fruit flavours.

Tap @ Craft Beer Co. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are flowers, hops, sweet malt and fruits. Oily palate.

(50 cl.

My Bottom Line:
Multifaceted tropical fruit ride this Pale Ale’s prickly effervescence, supported by cracking pale malts and balancing bitter resins.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sturdy head of foam bobs atop the golden.
-The dryness and high level of carbonation make for an elegant mouthfeel ; although a little more softness would be appreciated. I guess a cask version would serve just that.
-Floral angles are found within this wonderful hop signature.
-This is a wonderful bottling job, even if it doesn’t try to emulate a cask serving. This is a great quencher.

Bottle Pale golden beer with a reasonable head and little fizz. The overwhelming flavour (in a good way) is grapefruit. It is a good example of an Pale Ale, although I could do with a wee bit more bitterness, but very pleasant and doesn’t have the cloying taste of some 5% plus beers

Pours a cloudy yellow color with a thin white head. The aroma has a pleasant fruity hops presence that gives out a fragrance of lemon and tropical fruits, nice! Very good flavor of fruity hops (lemon and tropical fruits), there’s not much of a malt presence and it’s pleasantly dry with an average bitter finish. The body is light to medium with a creamy texture and medium to lively carbonation. This is very interesting, quite tasty and refreshing, a pint that goes down really easy, good work!
