Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Had on cask. More flowers than fruits in the hop character, but quite lovely nonetheless.

Bottle 50cl, a copper beer with medium head. Nose is on pineapple and exotic fruits. Aroma is only on aromatic hops, exotic fruit, coconut, grass, low body, bit watery, medium bitterness at the finish. Bit boring only the exotic fruit are there ...

Draft. I ordered this without knowing anything about it. I was delightfully surprised! Pours clear golden yellow with a foamy white head. Lots of carbonation. Nearly looks like you could sit a penny of the foam without it sinking. ( I didn’t try) Nose is fresh cut grassy with a huge fruit element. Big flavors of passion fruit, gooseberry and I guess the kiwi fruit. Although wouldn’t have thought kiwi without reading it first. Palate starts mildly sweet from the fruit and malt but transitions to a nice dry bitterness. This was packed with more flavors then I was expecting. If I had someone to drive me home, I would have ordered a few more pints. Real tasty. The best English beer I have sampled in recent memory. I would never turn this down on draft or cask.

Pours a clear gold with fluffy white head. Delicate carbonation. Aroma is floral, grassy, pineapple, melon, honey and cereal malt. Light slick body, malty, refreshing and nice balance but after the aroma I was a little disappointed. Clean finish.

Pours straw, with a light head. Aroma is faint containing grassy hints with kiwi and citrus flavours. taste is smooth and crisp with a fruity sweetness and a touch of bitterness. palate is medium bodied with a bit of carbonation zing. the beer is fairly light with a long finish. Overall this is a very crisp and refreshing beer which is great in the summer time.

Bottiglia @fermento. Sarò stato sfortunato,ma dietro un buon aroma erbaceo e resinoso,si nascondeva un sapore di bruciato simile al copertone/catrame. Non sono riuscito a finirla

Second Thornbridge beer from the LCBO. Pours a clean golden colour with a big frothy white head that stays a while and gives out decent lace. Pine needles and sweet grapefruit aromas. The taste is quite milder though, as in the hop are more tame. Kind of a smooth mouthfeel, medium-bodied. Citrusy flavours (orange, grapefruit) with some light grain. Funny to see an English brewery make an American Pale Ale. Pretty good though.

Pouts hazy light golden with minimal sand ring. Earth, mint, grass, hay, melon. Earth malts and really mild bitterness for an APA. A bit thin on the palate and not much depth on the finish. Decent ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Clear golden pour, big rocky white head. A huge white wine character to this beer. A vinous, hoppy, acidic aroma, with some citrus. Light carb, solid mouthfeel. Medium bitter finish, light grass, and some more vinous tartness.
