Cask & Cold Filtered Bottle; Regular.
Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

20120131 Home (50 cl Bottle): A clear yellow beer with a good, white head. Aroma: Frist a lot of citrus-like hopbitter. But also some grassy notes and a light off-flavour of the use of lot of hops. Taste: starts sweet with a coming hopbitte, which has citrus-like and grapefruit taste. Not a realy fresh taste. A dry bitter aftertaste, which is also a little sticky.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Strong, slightly skunky aroma. The flavor has plenty of hops, with hints of fruit as they mention on the label. I taste some banana, in addition to kiwi, mango, and melon. Very unique.

Bottle. Pale amber with white head. Delicious medium strength hop presence. Familiar Nelson Suav flavour. Malty too. A very well balanced brew with a nice, bitter finish.

0.5l bottle from MyBrewtab. Pours a near-clear golden-yellow body with a small just off-white light bubbly head. Some american hops and grapefruit was the first thing that hit my nose. Also tones of, no, make that lots of cat piss! Slick mouthfeel with a average carbonation level. Quite easy to drink this one. Citrus and not least grapefruit dominating flavors with both malty and hoppy tones. Quite bitter but not before the finish. yeah, not to bad. Aha, the label says Nelson Sauvin.. I had a suspicion ;) 13.01.2012

UPDATED: JUL 14, 2013 Draft at Toad in the Hole. Foggy yellow gold with small translucent lasting foam. Pungent herbal, floral, spicy nose with light diacetyl. Unexpected honey like malty sweetness holds court with the spicy hop complement, but there are off-putting rancid notes. Medium body and a weirdly soapy finish. RE-RATE 7-14-2013: 500ml at Toad in the Hole. Translucent gold with low, diminishing white foam. Delightful nose, as above, minus diacetyl and plus some subtle woodiness. CO2 has a pivotal effect on flavor here, but balance is the watchword, with leafy brightness more than a match for its fermentable base. Body and mouthfeel are light enough for bitter to hold its own in the finish. ’Spect.

Im Geruch stark maracujadominierte Hopfentöne. Beginnt fruchtig und maracujaartig. Mitte weiterhin belegt von der erwähnten Frucht und winzigen Malzsprenkeln. Abgang bitter-trocken, fruchtig, Maracuja. Recht gut, keine Frage. Auf Dauer aber zu einseitig im Geschmack.

pours clear amber with a white fluffy head. great tropical fruit aroma. taste is fruity, sweet, some citrus, grassy notes, and good carbonation. that dry bitter "USA" finish really kicks you in the face (which I quite like). its a brilliantly crafted beer, which is not as sweet as you’d expect. together with "Jaipur", this is amongst my favourite english beers. alchemy in a bottle!

Pours light orange with a large bubbly white head. Fruity, grassy aroma with hints of malts and hops. Fruity and slightly watery taste with notes of exotic fruits, grass, pine and hops. Finish is quite smooth and slightly bitter. Well balanced, tasty APA.
