Cask & Cold Filtered Bottle; Regular.
Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

500ml from IPB.
Appearance : Clear pale yellow with a medium white creamy head. Lots of lacing.
Aroma : Crisp and fresh citrusy hops. Notes of mangos and grapefruits. Nice malt also. Slightly bready. Quite floral and very fruity. Wow.
Taste : Malty and hoppy. Nice fruits hops with notes of mangos. Finish fairly malty with floral and piny hops. Light bitterness. Very fresh and sharp.
Palate : Slightly fizzy carbonation but not too much. Carbonation could have been slightly smoother maybe,
Overall : Awesome stuff. Very drinkable and fresh. Very well balanced. Great fruity notes with great malt.Nice look, nice carbonation. Not much negative things to say here... A perfect example of the APA that I like.

Light golden colour with small white head, taste and aroma are much better than appearence. It’s hoppy, sweet and refreshing. Very easy to drink, I enjoyed.

Note: 7/10

This is one tasty pale ale! Pours a beautiful golden yellow color with a big lofty white head. Smells of tropical fruit, some malt sweetness - it has a lot of depth and complexity. The taste reflects the nose starting with a little sweetness followed by a pleasant mild bitterness. This drinks the way a pale ale should.

UPDATED: MAY 5, 2012 Aroma: Kiwi fruit and lemon meringue.

Appearance: Clear golden body. Small, quickly dissipating head. Very light carbonation. No lacing.

Taste: Much more vibrant than the aroma suggests. Surprisingly powerful passionfruit flavour. Hints of kiwi fruit, sauvignon blanc wine and lemon grass.

Palate: Thin, watery body. Soft carbonation.

Overall: An unusual, but tasty brew. The taste has more punch than the aroma - lovely tropical fruit flavours.
