3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The pour: a straw-yellow to light amber in colour with a thick and lasting head, carbonation and colour have a champagne quality. The aroma: an obvious floral hoppyness initially, with notes of pine, some slight notes of grapefruit and a definitely unique grassy note of the Nelson Sauvin hop. The aroma is subdued until the think head dissipates somewhat. The taste: A nice session beer that starts mildly sweet and finishes with just the right amount of bitter, on the palette it has a light to medium body and a watery, almost oily, feel in the mouth. The verdict: very satisfying and balanced. Evokes memories of summer days and the tropics.

Pours a light clear gold, like a blond lager, with a foamy white head and lacing. It has a great grassy and citrus and tropical fruit aroma. The flavor is mild hops up front, with a pale malt middle and a slightly spicy aftertaste.

4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
A pale unfiltered look with amazing unpasteurized freshness, explores with tropical nelson hop aroma and taste over a perfect medium-to-light pale malt base that seems to perfectly showcase the delicate nuances of the Nelson Sauvin. wow a session beer after my own heart and the lightest body thing I’ve ever scored a four.

A good drinker, and good for its style, it pours lighter yellow with a lasting white soapy head. Mild wine aroma. Medium mouthfeel, carbonation right there, it is unique in a soft and flavourful hop, citrus.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
500mL bottle from the El cee B-O. Pours a clearish bright gold with a large white head. Aroma flies out of the glass and punches your nose. Piney, minty, citrusy hops. Flavour is even better, as the fantastic hop characters are well balanced with a satisfying, surprisingly deep malt body. Honeycomb. Has this nice ’tropic fruit’ essence thing going on, with a medium feeling body. Surprisingly smooth for so much hop activity. Awesome stuff. Additional sentence fragment.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle from the LCBO
AROMA: Intially a strong hoppy aroma that wafts from the glass- citrusy with grassy overtones - doesn’t last though.
APPEARANCE: slightly cloudy lemon yellow with a white lacy head of fine bubbles
TASTE: Moderate to high hop bitterness with a lingering citrus hop finish. Not much fruitiness unless it’s masked by the carbonation
PALATE: lively carbonation, lightish body. Long citrusy slightly metallic finish
OVERALL: Very drinkable.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle from the LCBO. Pours a clear pale copper with a bit of white head. Smell is predominantly grassy hops, with some sweet hints. Palate is good, just heavy enough to have its presence known, and excellent fine carbonation that’s not too strong. Taste is a bit lacking as the good hoppiness fades quickly only to be replaced with a weak bitter finish.
