3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled on 4/23/2011. This Pale Ale pours a slightly hazy orange gold color from a 500ml bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head, with decent lacing and nice retention. The aroma is citrusy, orange and fruity. A medium to light bodied pale ale. The malts are fruity and sweet, orange peel and grapey. The hops are citrusy, grapefruity and grapey. Yup itís that Nelson Sauvin hop again, although it this beer that Ďcharacterí does not seem as pronounced. Lively carbonation. Good balance. Hints of orange peel and grape seed, but that could just be the hops. Clean and crisp. Some lingering bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
A very sweet kiwi fruit and gooseberry nose and perhaps some white chocolate with a powerful hoppy kick at the end. Pours a light amber with frothy off-white head which sticks around for a while. Very sweet and fruity with medium body and soft carbonation. The bitterness and fruitiness would go well with a soft rinded cheese. Very easy drinking and perhaps more sessionable than Kiplingís older sister Jaipur IPA. I can see this being a very good beer with food indeed having flavours to marry light meat or spicy foods. The finish is slightly malty with the strong taste of gooseberries and passion fruit and the hoppy kick lasts tantalising the tongue to take another sip. A very good beer.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Tap@Olympen. Bright, pale, slightly hazy straw yellow with a small white head. Looks fairly still. Very citric aroma, vaguely spicy which tends towards basil which is wierd. Someting almost salty, like sea water. Grass, peach. Very british bready malts. The malts donít get too much playtime before the spicy and citric bitterness kicks in. Refreshing. Light bodied, not quite watery but not far from it. Could have used some more carbonation. It could have been more defined imo, more punch in all apartments. Itís a bit too muddy. More than good enough of a warm early summers eve though.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle, this ale has a hazy pour of light orange and yellow colors, the pour gave a white two finger high head that collapsed to a open cover and ring, there was mild to medium effervescence, and left spots and a few fingers of lacing on the glass, there was no sediment in the bottle,
this drink had grass-herb like aromas with faint floral and citrus, maybe a little lemon zest, light toasted malt, some bread, very faint powder sugar sweetness in the background,
and the flavors were light toasted malt with light bread notes, and citrus, grassy and faint lemon hops, some light fruit, a little malt sweetness,
medium bitterness that is drying at the finish and leaves a faint grass-herb taste afterwards,
the mouth feel is a little less than medium with a little creaminess on the palate,
a light malt and medium hop APA that is pretty dry at the finish and easy to drink.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
poured a almost clear golden color with a white head that faded quickly. Aroma had a grassy hop note upfront and finished off with a subtle honey-like sweetness. Flavor had a strong grassy flavor and some bitterness to it. Did not get any kiwi notes on ether the aroma or flavor. Easy to drink and almost a great session ale. It needed a little more balance from the malts.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Hard to describe aroma, complex although there was something about it I slightly didnít care for, almost as if it were a little skunked. The taste is dry and a strong tropical fruit flavor dominates. This was good, just wonder if the sample I got was old.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
50cl bottle from Waitrose. Pours amber gold with a tight white head that fades quickly; attractive aroma of tropical fruits - passion fruit and mango, perhaps some pineapple; crispy grainy flavour with more light tropical fruit flavours; and a dry, well hopped finish with a touch of gingery warmth. Excellent.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at Get Real New York. Very pale amber pour. The nose is soft and quite herbal. Fresh yeasty nose with a bit of bright citrus and zesty hops. Grassy and herbaceous bitterness with a touch of black pepper. Dry and very tasty - fresh and delicious.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale golden pour floating a white fluffy head. The aroma is bright and ctrusy (lemons and oranges). The flavors are lightly roasted pale malts, caramel and toffee, with some hints of cut grass and some interestingly tart tropical fruits. The PNW hopping has some bright and refreshing citrusy zest. Quite refreshing and tasty beer, if uncomplicated. A very fine lawnmower reward.
