Smells a bit subdued, but nice. A bit of pineyness and tropical fruit. Light yellowish color, slightly hazy, with a long lasting head. Quite refreshing, upfront with a bit of hop juicyness, pineyness in the middle and mild lingering hop bitterness on the finish. Slightly sweet hop. Light bodied and medium/high carbonation. Pretty good pale ale, well balanced.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Pours a very pale, and clear gold colour. The white fluffy head quickly dissipates, leaving a thin film on top. The aroma notes include grains, light malts, metal shavings, crackers, pear, banana. The tasting notes include mango, grapefruit, orange peel, a very pleasant palate with a dry bitter finish! Excellent!!

500 mL bottle from LCBO. This is my first Asian pale ale and it's really nicely done. Pours a clear yellow with a modest head that disappears fairly quickly. The aroma is fruit and hops. Really nicely flavored, lots of grapefruit. Nice, long, pleasantly bitter finish. This is really well done, I would definitely buy it again. Impressed.

This is a respectable, though unremarkable, pale ale. I will have to pick up a bottle to see how it compares but there are certainly better hoppy alternatives even in the UK. Still, you could do worse if you were unlucky so if the price is right give it a try.
Aroma / Appearance - The lively carbonation and semi-transparent bronze base give away the life in this one. Warm oranges, citrus, and a solid hop profile invite further reflection. It is not heavy but why should it be? It is only a 5% session beer.
Flavor / Palate - Grapefruit and ripe melons give this a nice fruity texture. The transition into a mellow finish accents what is a fairly well balanced offering. It might not have the punch and complexity of a higher gravity American pale but then again this was not made in North America.
