Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

on tap at Kraftwork - Bright golden color, very polished with a thick, foamy white head. Aromas of grapefruit skin really kick it into the "American Pale Ale" genre. Crisp, sharp bubbles (a bit coarse on the palate) dominate the mouthfeel. Flavors of grapefruit are predominant, but not overly aggressive like some IPAs. Good balance with a clean, crisp and pleasant finish. This may be the best English brewed Pale Ale that I’ve had on my American IPA loving palate.

From cask. Pours hazy golden with a dense white head. Aroma of fruits - pears, citrus, light floral, light malts. Very pleasent aroma. Taste is grassy, floral, again with some pear-like notes, a bit stale. I had the first pour of the firkin, and I think this will really open up a lot in a day or two.

I need try this again. I found it golden ale tasting. Not much hop to taste, the yeast dominated. Meh.
