Cask & Cold Filtered Bottle; Regular.
Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Bottle. Golden colour medium head that lasts well. Aroma is great, lots of hops and grapefruit. Taste is citrus, lots of grapefruit with a dry bitter finish. A very nice beer.

Glowing golden-orange body, medium sized white head, soapy lacing. Tropical notes, florals, green grapes, light citrus and a touch of biscuit. Medium bodied with smooth, moderate carbonation, lively bitterness, semi-dry throughout.

50cl bottle. Golden brown pour with tick foamy head, good lacing. Aroma has fruit salad, citrus and herby notes. Taste is heavily bitter, aromatic and tropical. Piece of paradise, but a bit oily and alcoholic palate. Taste ends with sour hops, balanced with good, malty body. Interesting beer and well made, with a twist.

Bottle. Golden beer with a light white head. The aroma is dry with fruity and grassy notes, and the flavour is dry, fruity and yeasty with a mellow maltiness. Overall a nice drinkable well hopped fruity pale ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very pale straw yellow with a white but quickly disappearing head. Pineapple nose with a hint of bread. More pineapple in the taste with a whole lot of passionfruit. A light refreshing IPA. Rated by BrewTom

Appears totally out of style for its designation, but this is an issue for ratebeer, insofar as I know New Zealand beer. It is pale gold with a puffy white head. Aromas of gooseberry and lime pith, similarly reflected in the flavour. Mild with herbal grassiness and some lemon, lime and tartness. Tasty, understated and obliging.

Bottle @ home. Bubbly clear yellow with good white foam. Deep fruity and skunky aroma. Grassy hop. Creamy, lots of grapefruit. Nice hoppy English character pale. Grassy grain.

Cloudy straw yellow color with big head. Aroma of tropical fruits, a hint of pine. Taste begins with a bit of pines, then the tropical fruits take over. Low carbonation, little malt backbone, and light body. A superb Pale Ale, just a bit too light for an over-the-top rating.

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green, 20/12/14 ... sure I’ve had this plenty of times before and didn’t even realise I hadn’t rated it until I took a double check ! Clear golden with a decent white covering. Nose is passionfruit, pine notes, light skunky hops, grapefruit. Taste comprises floral notes, grapefruit, tangerine, citric sherbets, passionfruit, mandarin. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with juicy hop bitterness. Solid cask APA.

Golden with a thin, lasting white head, some floating sediment. Fresh grassy hops and juicy grapefruit in the nose. Taste is initially bitter hops and again grapefruit with an underlying maltyness. It’s good stuff
