Typical of a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc wine, this wonderful South Pacific Ale has a great grassy nose with kiwi fruits in abundance. The wonderful fruity mouth gives way to a great bitter finish. 5.2%

Essentially as good an American Pale Ale as can be found. Ample floral aroma with some pine and grapefruit. Light in the mouth with the right carbonation. A good balance of bitterness and malt. Of course, a large hop character the perfectly mirrors the aroma; pine and grapefruit. Delicious. LCBO Ottawa.

Bottle. Pours out in a deep golden-light amber colour with smooth, small head and medium to crisp body. Aroma of fresh hops with hints of herbs and flowers. Taste of dry, bitter hops, herbs, thyme, coriander, citrus fruit, lemon zest and spruce. Mild and smooth bitter finish.

Draft at Edmunds Oast. Clear hazy gold pour with a fluffy white head. Aroma of tropical fruit hops, cantalope and melons, citrus and English yeast. Slightly chalky in flavor with New Zealand hoppiness. Not too shabby.

Pale straw colour with a visible thinness when poured. Has a moderate short lasting head. The hop explosion in the mouth though is special (albeit slightly grassy in flavour) . This is up there with some of the great APAs. Definitely worth a buy!

Bottle: Served in a Duvel glass: Medium sized white head. Almost clear yellow colored beer. Aromas of hops, flowers and hoppy fruits. Flavours of hop fruits, some citrus and grapefruits, some flowers, herbs, some smooth bitters, you know it, itís there. Very nice and balanced beer, bit thin but even more easier drinker. Aftertaste is a mix of hops, herbs, bitters and some fruits. Low carbo, light watery light creamy mouthfeel, medium bodied and a light watery texture. Nice stuff!

"i REALLY DIG BOTH THE DRINABILITY AND THE fruitiness (mostly tropical) in this brew. Still malt malt forward than Iíd prefer, due to it being English, or age...or most likely both. Nice quaffable solid brew, though."

On tap at Olympen, april 22nd 2014. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Aroma is grassy with tropical fruit, crisp, taste of grapes, grapefruit, apricot, a good showcase of Nelson. Good bitterness too, a bit weak body and short aftertaste doesnít do the beer justice, but overall itís a nice thirst quencher.†

I really like this beer. Light gold with a small white head and some lacing. Gorgeous aroma of tropical fruit. Flavours of grapefruit, passion fruit, kiwi, nicely set off with a creamy mouthfeel and a slightly bitter finish. Well balanced, and a winner for me as I like the hops that give this degree of exotic fruit.
