Cask. Greystones, Sheffield. Amber, with a light haze. Dense, creamy, sticky, off white head. Granary bread. Light banana. Soft toffee. Some ripe plum. Taste is fruity dry. Light bitter. Feels smooth, although a tad thin. Finishes fruity bitter. Ok. Easy drinking.

Scopey (12507) - Croydon, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 13, 2012
Cask at Craft Beer Co Brighton. It pours deep amber with a medium off-white head. The nose is wood, leather tangerine, dried pineapple and brown bread. The taste is wood, leather, sharp citrus, tangerine, grape, cox apple, caramel, light spice and resin with a long dry finish. Med body and soft carbonation. Flavoursome and well balanced. Nice hopped-up contempory take on an ESB.

Tasted from the cask @Buckingham hotel, Buxton, on 06/11/2012. Pours of lovely copper color with a proper snowy head. Aroma is quite mild, just slightly caramely and flowery. Mouthfeel low-to-medium bodied, low carbonated as expected. Taste is mild as well, caramely sweet upfront, then floral and faint herbal notes. Aftertaste is short and just a bit bitter. Neutral, maybe I just dont like cask ales much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Craft. Hazy amber beer, little off white head. Palate is fresh and and pretty dry. Moderate carbonation. Moderate hops - a little tangerine and marmalade. Whisper of grass. Pretty fresh but restrained and too dry.

On cask @ Beauchief Hotel - looks okay, bit of a golden colour, nice white head, Slight citric nose, hoppy. The bite and palate aren’t up to scratch. Not as good and let the brewery standard down. Ordinary.

Theydon_Bois (16873) - Hazlemere, the lower Xhitlerns, Buckinghamshire, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2012
Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 19/10/12. Lightly hazed copper/golden with a decent bubbly off white head. Toffee/Caramel on the nose, light orange /tangerine and trace of greapefruit. Tastes of caramel malts, citrus tones, touch of grapefruit, slightly sour. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation lending towards a bitter finish.
