2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On cask at Hallamshire House, Sheffield - suspiciously like Lord Marples, but until the admins merge it, why not rate it. Absolutely nothing wrong with this, a bit bland, but so much better than so many others Iíve had this year. Nonetheless, I canít think of much to add to an average beer.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask at the Victoria, Birmingham. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a big frothy white head and loads of sticky lace. The aroma is light malt, light hop. The flavour is moderate to light bitter with a smooth creamy malt light hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. A super smooth tasty and well kept session ale. I would drink this until the cows came home

Cask at The Macc. Darkish amber with medium sized off white head. Sweet malty aroma, rootbeer, biscuit. Some light hops, slightly herby and medicinal, smooth palate. Will have to try again, bit of an odd brew.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear light woodiness, eggshell white head. Fresh fruit loaf. Soapy sweetness on initial taste washes out to a mulchy malt bitterness on the finish. Middle Middle is clean, Red Fruit Gum sweetness before this imparts itself but as a bitter to not taste pathetically Buttery is a big plus for me.
