Cask. Pleasant aroma of grapefruit and gooseberry. Pours golden with thin cream top. Tastes predictably citric with hints of grassy hops as well. A summer ale in my view with no great fullness. It leaves the palate embittered rather than washed. I guess that’s one way to prompt the next mouthful. It will move me to another beer. Too dry for my taste.

Clear pale gold, small white head. Good fresh hop aroma, gooseberry and grapefruit. Some sweetness but light body and finish, a bit thin.

Cask at gbbf day 5. Clear golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is nice honey, berry, light toast, sweet lemon. Flavor is clean grains, honey, golde., berry. Palate is light somewhat refreshing, thin. OK. Sessionable golden.

Cask at Craft Beer Co, Clerkenwell. A clear golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma of fresh floral hops, grape, some grapefruit, a little pine and straw. Taste of dry grapefruit, grape, slight straw and floral hops. Light bodied and soft carbonation. A dry, floral hop bitterness in the finish. Quite a hoppy low ABV golden ale, saying that it’s dry and lacks a malt backbone.
