(Cask at Craft Beer Co Islington, London, 24 Apr 2015) Golden colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with peaches, sweet malt and citrus. Malty, fruity taste with notes of peaches, soft malt, citrus and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain malt sweetness. Tasty and well balanced, with a sweet peach character. Quite nice.

Cask. Hallamshire House, Sheffield. Clear, straw colour. Dense, lasting, white head. Sweet malts, and sweet, tinned peach. Drinks strangely bitter, the taste not matching the aroma. Bit of a claggy palate. Finishes short bitter.

Tap East. Cask. Almost clear gold beer, tiny pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry and light. Mild fine carbonation. The pale malts bring light cream. Decent and semi sweet peach. Trace of raspberry syrup. Light semi dry finish. Nicely fruity but should there not be some hops in a (proclaimed) IPA?

Keg at Craft 100 Clapham, Good Friday 3rd April 2015 Wonderfully clear golden beer, white filmy head. A little mushy peach, sadly it’s a little safe, the Siren ’Lifes a Peach’ set a very high benchmark. It could do with being a bit more summery but to be fair being consumed alongside Kernel Raspberry it was always an interesting comparison. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Cask conditioned at The Chesterfield Arms, Chesterfield, Derby’s. Hazy gold with white head. Quite a rich, fruity little number, yes peachy in character, some sweetness, light syrupy note but not without dryness as well. Dame Nelly would be pleased!

Keg in Tapped Leeds. Pale golden with a good white head. Lots of refreshing peach and citrus flavour. A lovely summer beer. Refreshing and easy to sink. I don’t really like peach flavour, but this is decent.
