Cask in the Firehouse, Sowerby Bridge. Pours golden with a white head. Some tropical hop flavour and it’s light and drinkable, but this is a little run of the mill for a Thornbridge beer.

Pours clear golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, lemon and soapy hops with hints of malts. Taste is smooth and light bodied with hints of citrus and soapy hops. Finish is smooth and watery with juicy notes. Could’ve used some more body or bitterness. Quite watery hop juice.

Cask (St Urho’s, Helsinki)
Simple English bitter aroma, light grains, some hint of aromatic hops. Straw coloured, nice spongy small head. Watery palate, carbonation low. Dull malts, sharp bitterness, almost sour tinges. Finish is a bit of pungent hops, little more. Sub-par for a real ale.
