Pungent, almost aggressive fresh aroma. Simple light grains. Smooth simple palate, feels so good after so much fucking keg bollocks, soft and not harsh. Taste is pretty simple, light grains, husky bitterness. Finish very bitter. Add the foftness of the body, and THIS IS WHY I LIKE GOOD REAL ALES. Bitterness from hops rather than the fake "bitterness" that idiots get from cabonic acid. OK, rant over. Deep down it’s quite a disappointing beer. there’s the bitterness, but there’s no other reaon to demand some hops. Hops for the sake of hops. Meh, whatever. Just give me tasty beer, that’s all I ask.

Cask @ Black Door. Aroma has fruity hops, some pineapples and resiny tones. Flavour has minerals, fruity hops and gooseberry bush leaves. Finishes with acrid herbal bitterness. Rather rich for a real ale.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield. Pours golden with a slight haze. Hoppy American IPA, but not as good as I expected. Many of these are much smoother than this. Decent enough.

On cask at Coach and Horses, Dronfield - Thought I’d better rate this seeing as I added it! Hazy orange body, fluffy white head. Nose of soft citrus, tangerine, mandarin etc. Taste is syrupy, sweet and heavy on the booze. Very well rounded mouthful, very nice indeed.

Euston Tap. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, good off white head. Soft and light palate with a little fine carbonation. Light touch of Elderflower. Minor malt dust and light malt cream. Soft marmalade and a dash of citrus. Finishes semi dry. Quite a smooth IPA but compared with the others I’ve had tonight - well it’s a bit muted.

Cask at the Euston Tap - London. Pours mostly. Lear gold with a soft, foamy white head. Not much happening in the aroma , some mellow hibts of tangerine maybe, a bit of dry pine. Medium sweet flavor with a fairly pronounced booziness, modest bready pale malts, tangerine, orange rind, light dirty grass bitterness. Medium bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with subtle sticky pine, a bit of alcohol, dry tangerine, melon, pine needles. Slow starter but gets a bit better as you drink it.

Cask handpull, The Wharf, Macclesfield, 10/08/13. Nose big waft of pink-green tropical fruit; flowers, papaya, overripe melon, little bit of almond. Dusty gold draped with fine white. Fine bitter tropical taste corruscating slightly with papaya, watermelon, bitter husk, nougat, trifle-like sliced peach, booze at the edges. Very nice; like Jaipur before it got watered down and spoonsified.
