[Bottle at Mondial 2014, Montreal] Pours a very dark brown, almost black, with an average size lasting frothy tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, leafy hops, a hint of coffee and some fruit. Roasty flavour along with a slightly odd hop note. Moderate bitter finish. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good, not great.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Very dark brown, off-white head that goes quickly but leaves some thick lacing. Aroma is initially citrus, which later on mellows and mixes with some cola. Great mixture of flavours - pineapple and orange alongside chocolate and coffee alongside elements of roasted malts and bitterness. Medium bodied, slightly oily, slightly creamy. I’ll be having this again!
