3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Vika enjoyed at home
Pours dark, black in glass, super dense 1 cm brown head. Smells of roasted malts, fruity yeast esters, coffee and some tar elements. Taste is quite roasty, heavy sweet, caramel, some coffee and tar elements. Light to medium bitter finish, earthy and coffee bitterness. Medium bodied, flat carbonation, light oily texture. Totally a good beer, but as a imperial stout it feels a bit weak in abv and body. Still it’s a very drinkable beer with nice tonality and flavors

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottled, 0.50l. Pours murky, almost black with medium sized creamy light brown head and fair lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, liquorice, dried fruits and alcohol. Taste starts with smooth and rich roasted malt and coffee, while following is sweet chocolate with alcohol notes. Mouthfeel is spicy and peppery with pretty heavy bitter finish and long aftertaste. Full body, creamy texture and average carbonation in palate. Interesting herbal hoppy stout...

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A black beer with a big, dense and beige head. The nose is roasted, coffee, strong milky sourness, some herbs and old lether sole. Not very sophisticated aroma. Taste is strongly roasted, coffee, nice sweetness, some lether and liquirice. The end is quite long, dry and roasted. Medium+ bodied, smooth carbonation, plesant to drink. Quite simple IS, not very exhilarating.

I think this bottle is a year old, I just realized I still had it. Sad. Deep brown witha tan head. Aroma of roast malt, ash. Taste is a nice smoky burnt malt, some creamy caramel, dark fruits. It’s a pretty nice beer.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Deep cola-cola color with a tan head. Aroma of roast, ash, and chalk. Taste very roast and dry, with roastiness increasing in mid mouth and palate. Warm after-feeling in stomach is only indication that this is an "imperial" stout and not just a regular dry (or possibly extra dry) stout

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Generalessa dell’interpretazione inglese classica dell’imperial stout, pur senza nessun carattere superlativo.
