Half pint at the Nags Head in Reading. Copper colour with a fair head. Nicely hopped, sweet and smooth. Hint of citrus. Fair but faint aroma. Pleasant but a little pedestrian.

Cask (handpump) at Reading Beer Festival on 28 April 2011. Reddish amber colour. Loose white head. Soft malty aroma. Fairly hoppy on the palate but in a rather traditional mould. Decent enough but not one of the better Thornbridge beers in my book.

On cask, Coach and Horses, Dronfield - a solid bronze body,with lasting lacy head. Nose of citrus, grapefruit, strawberries, cherries, pine, spices. A thickish body, bitter taste, still fairly fresh though.A good pint.

Sweet melon and citrus. Light hoppy bitter and pine. A tasty bitter, but I am being spoiled at the moment with some great craft beer.

Cask @ Charlies Bar, Copenhagen. Pours a pale amber color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty hoppy weak peachy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with peachy hints. Has a fruity malty hoppy bitter finish.

Golden body with a nice off-white head. The nose is a bit funky, floral. Pepper, ginger, citrus fruits and some pine wood. The Taste is moderately bitter with a bittersweet grassy finish. The mouthfeel’s medium and a bit dry. Overall, quite a nice IPA from a top brewery.

Cask at Charlie’s Bar, Copenhagen. An amber beer with bubbly yellowish head. The aroma has notes of hops, elderflowers, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, spices, elderflowers, alfaacids, and hops, leading to a softly bitter finish.
