Cask@ Blue Stoops Chesterfield. This seems to be a popular one but it doesn,t float my boat. Powerful aroma that becomes a bit too powerful,if you know what I mean. The taste is interesting to start with, but after a while becomes too elderflower and not much else. I,m not sure we need the yanks to teach us anything about beer...or cars...or planes.....

On cask at Craft Beer Co., Clerkenwell, 9/1/13. American amber ale. Clear amber. Very weak aroma. Pretty malty (pale, cara, with a touch of darker), with some hop: What hops there are, are good: Spicy, with some grapefruit & pine, but weak. Bit too sweet, not enough hop.

Cask (Black Door, Helsinki)
gentle sweet caramelly fruity aroma, fleshy fruits. soft palate, carbonation pleasant, but still low as you’d expect from cask. simple malty body, lightly toasted grains, gentle, slightly earthy= bitterness. Drinkability high. Very simple, but a very tasty orangy brown bitter. loved the spongy head - stayed the whole time.
