COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special.
The Thornbridge Sequoia American Amber Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from our generous additions of Amarillo, Centennial and Chinook hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours. Sequoia, a beautiful beer for all occasions!

Bottle from Matkroken Natland, Bergen. Pours a beautiful deep clear amber body with a medium creamy off-white head. Nose is caramel, bread, peaches, mild floral tones, pine and hints of grass. Taste is pine, bread, grass, caramel, mild nuts and hints of peaches. Light, near-watery body, medium to high carbonation. Pretty smooth and pleasant amber ale from Thornbridge.

Bottle Rehills Newcastle. Fresh pine and citrus aroma, which doesn’t hit in you in the face, but lingers nicely. Gorgeous soft texture, with spiciness, nuttiness and orangey caramel combining faultlessly. Looks great, tastes great, is a pleasant change from their hoppier brews and has instantly become a new favourite. Very impressed

500ml bottle from Drinkstore. Pale clear amber with a huge , lasting foamy white head. Fruit, perfume and floral notes in the aroma, love that chinook. Flavour is not quite there, its all a bit watery with suggestions of toffee and caramel around the edges. Theres some bitterness toward the finish. Silky mouthfeel and soft carbonation, short finish. This is nothing like an aggressively hopped ’American Amber’, its a slightly hop forward English bitter.
