The Thornbridge Sequoia American Amber Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from our generous additions of Amarillo, Centennial and Chinook hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours. Sequoia, a beautiful beer for all occasions!

God, fløyelsmyk smak i bare 4,5%.

Bottle. Almost clear in the glass, amber in color and with a finger-thick off-white head. The aroma is of the malty kind, caramel and some bread and vienna malts, with a pleasant citrusy hoppyness. The flavor is pretty much the same, with lots of maltyness in the back, and a citrusy, piney hoppyness up front. Soft bitterness. Medium to full body and a very soft carbonation. Lasting balanced finish. Not very interesting this one, but still quite solid. 150524

In short: fruity amber ale.
Pours quite clear amber with nice off white head. Short head retention, some lacing. Citrusy, berries, caramel nose. Light body, average carbonation, crispy texture. Taste is moderate bitter, fruity, some citrusy and green apple notes, subtle caramel giving a malty touch to this hop profiled beer. Enjoyable.
