3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Cask at the Euston Tap. Looks great - deep red-brown with a clingy white head, clean and light citrus and peppery hops on the nose, initial toffee character is a little muted, but then it opens up a bit, with juicy nut and marmalade notes. Lingering citrus bitterness.

Tap (@Cask Pub&Kitchen, Pimlico): Deep golden with a amber sheen, hazy, small foamy layer, toasty-malty nose with a certain amount of citrussy-juicy hops; dryish bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied and quite soft; a slight tartness in the delicately malty and citrussy finish: Good, but more british than american influences detectable...

Cask at The Jolly Butchers, Stoke Newington. Nice colour, dark malts, lean hops but tastes a little watered down. Not up to normal Thornbridge quality i must say.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
My Bottom Line:
Pine-y hops blend into lean caramel malts in this smooth quencher.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam tops the dark amber.
-Bitterness is levelled to the rest of the brew’s delicate intensity. These may be American hops, but the dosage is British.
-Malts are also lightly toasted.
-Hops and fermentation develop apricot-like notes.
-This may be simple and very effective, but it is not memorable at all.
On cask at Cask Pub & Kitchen.

Cask @ cbc brixton. Pours slightly cloudy amber. Pleasant fruity aroma. Veggie earthiness, malt and caramel with some citrus in there too. Nice.

Cask at the Cask, Pimlico - 26/02/13.
Clear dark amber with a medium sized bubbly off white head that retains well.
Nose is earthy, citrus, orange, toffee, light urine.
Taste comprises hops, orange, caramel, grass.
Medium bodied with moderate carbonation, smooth on the palate - nice feel, some bitterness in the finish.
Decent drinkable sessiony stuff.

Cask@ Blue Stoops Chesterfield. This seems to be a popular one but it doesn,t float my boat. Powerful aroma that becomes a bit too powerful,if you know what I mean. The taste is interesting to start with, but after a while becomes too elderflower and not much else. I,m not sure we need the yanks to teach us anything about beer...or cars...or planes.....
