Taste is similar of toasted malts, some caramel, slight grapefruit, a hint of pine and subtle herbal hops. Light bodied moderate carbonation. A crisp, toasty, slight herbal hop bitterness in the finish. More maltier than I expected, subtle hoppiness to it. Nice and crisp though.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sampled draft @ Bar Dynamo. Dark red amber, creamy head. Nose is massive nearly cloying herbal sugary, leaves, plants affair, thick overly sweet, almost a bit cough syrup like. Taste is this big sweet slab of brown sugar herbal leaves sweetness, bitter plants, toffee, leaves, faint cough syrup. Very thick & sugary body. Too sweet herbal, near cloying etc. for me. Really not to my profile, the whole is a bit hard to drink which is an odd quality for a 4.5 % Amber Ale to possess.
