The Thornbridge Sequoia American Amber Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from our generous additions of Amarillo, Centennial and Chinook hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours. Sequoia, a beautiful beer for all occasions!

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear looking one. Itís deep dark golden almost a little bronze I color and it has a nice big lasting off-white head thatís leaving some nice lacings down the sides of the glass. Smells nice also. Itís candy sweet in a way, well hopped with fresh citrus tones, something mildly roasted and a little bit of generic fruit. Quite pleasant to nose and itís not directly unpleasant to taste either. Itís quite thin and a bit to light IMO in the mouth this, while its above average on the bubbles. Lots of hops here. It needs more body and sweetness and to justify the bitterness. Quite fresh grassy, lots of nice citrus tones in the taste also. Some thin watery caramel and a little bit of fruity flavors in the finish. A bit like melon fruitiness. Yeah, itís nice to nip at here in the sun. 09.04.2014

Cask @ Euston Tap. Amber/copper with white head and loadsa lacing. Spruce and mango aroma. Muted bitter taste, allowing the hop profile to shine but not overwhelm. Thin palette. This is a fairly staid beer, but works well enough.
