COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask: Special.
The Thornbridge Sequoia American Amber Ale has beautiful citrus and pine notes that come from our generous additions of Amarillo, Centennial and Chinook hops. It is smooth and velvety in the mouth with the toasted malts giving it a medium body with hints of roasted hazelnut, toffee and caramel malt flavours. Sequoia, a beautiful beer for all occasions!

Not a huge amount going on here, tasty enough amber ale, lightly sweet and somewhat tangy and bitter.

W aromacie lekkie muśnięcie czerwonych owoców, słodowo - biszkoptowy z lekkim diacetylem. W smaku łagodne, słodowe, biszkopt z lekką owocową nutą, niska goryczka. Przyjemne, do sączenia w większych ilościach.

0.5l bottle. This is a crystal clear looking one. It’s deep dark golden almost a little bronze I color and it has a nice big lasting off-white head that’s leaving some nice lacings down the sides of the glass. Smells nice also. It’s candy sweet in a way, well hopped with fresh citrus tones, something mildly roasted and a little bit of generic fruit. Quite pleasant to nose and it’s not directly unpleasant to taste either. It’s quite thin and a bit to light IMO in the mouth this, while its above average on the bubbles. Lots of hops here. It needs more body and sweetness and to justify the bitterness. Quite fresh grassy, lots of nice citrus tones in the taste also. Some thin watery caramel and a little bit of fruity flavors in the finish. A bit like melon fruitiness. Yeah, it’s nice to nip at here in the sun. 09.04.2014
