Cask at CPK during the pub’s 5th birthday celebration - London. Pours clear, pale gold with a creamy, white head. Light tangy lemon aroma with faint hay notes. Light sweet flavor with mild lemon, faint citric tang, melon. Light in body with fine carbonation. Nicely balanced to finish with further lemony tang, dry pale bread. Novel stuff. It’s like a gose but without the teeth. Very nice.

Cask conditioned handpump Craft Beer Co WC1 London 28/07/14. A blonde beer with a white head and lace. Apricots in the nose are good and welcoming. Comes through in the mouth too with pale malts but it is a bit thin. A decent beer but below par for Thornbridge.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Almost clear beer, very pale gold. No real head. Palate is light and dry. Very light and dry.pale malts. Light floralness. Somewhat insipid apricot. Some tang. Light dry finish. While not terrible there is an instinctive and immediate wrongness here.

Cask handpull at Craft Clerkenwell. Clear gold. Not much condition. Some dried apricot flavour. Reminded me of my dad’s apricot homemade wine and not in a good way. Eeek. Um no couldn’t finish a half pint.
