COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A quality malt bill of German pilsner and the noble Tettnanger hop is required to produce this classic beer and these provide enough depth for a beer of simplicity. Although this style leans towards the malt, it is a well balanced beer. The noble hops express themselves as spicy and citrusy on the nose, the bitterness is somewhat restrained but there is enough in the finish to dry the palate

Keg, Cask Pub and Kitchen, Pimlico, 03/04/12. Unclear pale gold under a slim-lacing top. Musty lemon, weak herbal and grassy aroma. Fizzy, eye-watering cold killing modest lemon and grassy notes. Slight dry out. Ordinary.

Medium white head. Hazy yellow body with light carbonation. Faint yeasty aroma with faint orangey notes. Dry-sweet fruity gooseberry taste with floral notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft, smooth mouthfeel. Dryish mealy floral fruity aftertaste with kiwi notes. Very drinkable and smooth, with some surprising minor flavours. Aroma wasn’t much, though. (0.35l draft at Schouskjelleren, Oslo.)

Had this from draft at the Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas on Fri 23rd March 2012 with Loz and in company of Simon & Jackie Golden in colour with a white head. Softer than I was expecting in the mouth, but quite fresh and tangy, in fact this is quite nice indeed.Citrussy with a nice little bite, certainly better than the Scheider Weisse Nelson Sauvin. Draft @ Moeder Lambic, Fontainas.

25 cl. draft @ Chez Moeder Lambic Fontainas: slightly hazy golden with a creamy white head, aroma is lots of floral & herbal hops, lemon zest, slight sweet malt underneath, taste is similar herbal & floral hops dominate, lingering on & hanging in the back of the mouth plus some lemon zest, underneath, yeast, slight honey & white bread (touch sweet malts), slight above medium carbonation, ok but completely ignorable

On tap at modeler lambic. Clear golden body with puffy head. Nose is citrus and fruits. Taste is very hoppy with warming malts influence. Well balanced and well done! Clean finish w some citrus.

Keg. Golden with a lasting white head. Malt nose with a nice zest. Incredibly well balanced with the malts just winning through, but the zesty hops managing to have their say.
