Bottled, regular;
Tzara is a hybrid beer, fermented like an ale but matured like a lager. A delicate straw coloured, crisp, refreshing beer

Bottle 0,50L. Courtesy of Grergor. Pale straw color with almost no head and no visible carbonation. Bread aroma dominates, also some grain, straw, some grassy hops. Light sweet to light bitter taste, light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Drinkable lager, but nothing special here.

Had it from the keg at Craft N1, London. Very pale. Looks like a lager. The sweetness really surprised me. The sweet flavour dominated over any hoppy flavour it should have. Didn’t taste like any Kolsch I’ve ever had.

500ml bottle. Clear pale straw colour, minimal rapidly dissipating head. Aroma: bready malts, floral grassy hops. Taste: slightly sweet bready malt, caramel, grassy hops, slight fruitiness. Lively carbonation, light body, easily drinkable, but nothing particularly special.

Pours golden, not hazy, minimum head, white. Aroma is slight, plain hops and lager like. Nothing special there. Beer is very drinkable, has a slight sweet feeling and a light dry finish, very light, no body almost. Refreshing!

50cl bottle. Clear hay colour with a thin white head. Poor retention. Citric, herbal and floral aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is light more on the sweet malty side and more dry and light bitter towards the finish. Overall, drinkable but nor remarkable.

Kita (1871) - Koper, SLOVENIA - JUL 24, 2016
Bottle, 0.50l. shared with Patrick. Pours clear pale golden with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is citric, floral, herbal and bready. Taste starts with light sweet biscuit malt, follows bready and mild fruity, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Drinkable, but nothing else...

Bottle. Clear light golden color. Aroma: fine spicy (German?) hops, a little fruit, malt. Taste: pure, watery, malty, slightly hoppy, really like a Kölsch.

Poured very pale, straw like, with no head what so ever. I didn’t like this at all to be honest. Maybe mine had turned, judging by some of the other reviews? Didn’t smell too clever. Had an almost rubbery taste to it? Thornbridge do some absolutely cracking beers, but this one wasn’t for me unfortunately.

Clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma grainy, with just a touch of nobel hops. Taste light, grainy, and with a herbal note on the palate
