Bottle. Very floral, slightly citrusy aroma and flavour. Light body, hoppy taste, some bready notes in the bone-dry, light bitter finish. Good beer but not on the same level as the best German kolsch beers.

Poured straw with a small white head. Aroma of zesty hops. Medium body, flavour is quite bland, sweet caramel malt and generic hoppiness. Lacking the body of a true Kolsch, far closer to a standard lager.

(Draught at Craft Beer Co Brixton, London, 27 Apr 2013) Yellow colour with brief, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of peaches, citrus and white bread. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, white bread, wheat-flour dough, peaches and a mild, grassy bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Refreshing, but taste is a bit doughey. Decent kölsch.

Bottle pours a really light yellow ale with a white sustained head, aroma was a yeats wheat like note. Taste a little hoppy,, fresh, clean taste with a bit of yeast, Now where is the BBQ!

Bottle shared from Jmgreenuk. Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma of fruits, light malt, cucumber. Flavour is light sweet and bitter. Light bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines, Birmingham. Poured a light straw colour with a thin white broken head. The flavour is medium bitter, malty and very Heineken like. Ok as a refreshing summer beer but nothing special.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2013 Almost no smell, looks like a standard larger in the glass. Fairly light, quite a nice feel in the mouth, not too much going on here...

On tap at Craft Beer Co. Clerkenwell, pours a fairly clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma of light German yeast, straw and crackery. Flavour brings out notes of straw, cereal malts, biscuity malt and some German lager yeast. Very light, but true to style. Finishes on notes of straw and cereal notes. Good stuff.
