50cl bottle. Pours golden with a slight haze, no bubbles and a nicely proportioned head. The nose has hay, then cereal (possible shredded wheat or cornflakes) and lemon. The taste has more lemon and cornflakes but also some honey kicks in as it warms up. The palate has an intense but tight body with a persistent length and a long clean finish. Overall, a really well made Kolsch.

Very much in style, classic grains and some Noble hop. Simple and very clean. Dry enough, soft bitter. Too carbonated though, could have been creamier. Also looses it’s head way too early. Still nice to start off the evening. (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

From 500 ml bottle. Pours a clear lemon-yellow with a sudsy white head and vibrant carbonation. Aromas of honey, citrus and cut grass. Taste starts off with a note like soft white bread before a grapefruit bitterness washes through. Grassy hops dominate the back end before a lightly sweet finish. Maybe not my favourite style, but this seems very true to style. Refreshing as well.
