3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
50cl bottle. Pours golden with a slight haze, no bubbles and a nicely proportioned head. The nose has hay, then cereal (possible shredded wheat or cornflakes) and lemon. The taste has more lemon and cornflakes but also some honey kicks in as it warms up. The palate has an intense but tight body with a persistent length and a long clean finish. Overall, a really well made Kolsch.

500ml bottle at home. Pours clear pale gold, with a fast dissipating head. Aromas of cereal and lemon. More so on the taste, perhaps with a honeyed sweetness. Light lemon bitter. Clean crisp finish. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
500 ml bottle into a Guinness pint. ABV 4.8%
Pale golden yellow colour on the body, clear, with little activity in it. Big white and soapy head, with average retention, leaving medium lacing around the glass.
Aroma of grass, straw, light hops presence.
Taste is light sweet and just a tad malty, with grass and clean hay. Light apple-like flavour on the finish. Slighty but very pleasant bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium thin on the body, average carbonation, very dry on the palate.
Overall quite good, very drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a pale straw colour with a frothy white head that rapidly dissipates. Quite crisp and bitter with some apple notes at first before mellowing into a slightly sweet caramel finish. This is pleasant enough, but was a bit subtle/bland for my tastes.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottled, 500 ml.
Somewhat opal pale yellow colour, broad pored medium sized white head, lively carbonation.
Mild lemony nose and aroma underpainted by some bread and notes of honey.
Refreshing finish with citrus fruits escorted by grassy hops.
A correct Kölsch, which brought what I’ve expected from it.
