50cl bottle. Pours golden with a slight haze, no bubbles and a nicely proportioned head. The nose has hay, then cereal (possible shredded wheat or cornflakes) and lemon. The taste has more lemon and cornflakes but also some honey kicks in as it warms up. The palate has an intense but tight body with a persistent length and a long clean finish. Overall, a really well made Kolsch.

Bottle from Beer Central, Sheffield More lager than ale, White head, pale yellow in colour. Smells same as taste, grassy, honey, wheaty....not much more.

SlackerMads (1708) - Greater London, ENGLAND - DEC 11, 2014
Bottle. Clear pale yellow with a medium sized diminishing white head. Sulphor, egg shell, dry grass, grain, hay, light raspberry and other fruity notes. White bread. Light/medium body, light/medium sweet and bitter. It is easy enough to pour down, but I don’t find it too interesting and it is a little bit sticky towards the finish.

Pale and thin. Light fruitiness, grassy hops. Light sweetness with unpleasant light bitterness. Boring, too thin.

Pale piss aroma you can not hide changing the name of style. Dislike the taste of fish as well

Blonde jaune trčs pale. Belle mousse blanche qui se tient bien. Nez trčs fleuri : jasmin ? Bouche également fleurie, jasmin toujours. Amertume moyenne, faible corps.Trčs bon, trčs rafraîchissant !

Tap. Clear golden yellow, white head. Nose is grain and hops, some flowery-fruity notes in the background. Flavor is similar to the nose, but with some sweet hints thrown in, hops in the finish. Fizzy carbonation. Nothing special.

500ml Bottle from Valhalla’s Goat, Glasgow:
This one seemed more German than English which can only be a good thing with this type of beer. The taste was a smooth and clean one with a good balance that helped it go down quite easily. It’s probably not one I’d go back to but it was an good beer and one worth trying if you get the chance.
