Bottle from Beeches of Walkley, Sheffield. Hazy, straw colour. Thin, white head. Aroma is grassy, bready and minerally. Taste has a yeasty sweetness. Dry, tart finish.

Bottle from the strange store in Tallinn (€ 3.82). BB 25.02.2016. Clear, very pale yellow colour, the head’s off-white, small, and dissipates quickly. Crisp and lagery on the nose, it’s got grains, hay, grassy Noble hops, and later on some warmer, fruitier, nuttier, sweeter notes. Tastes clean, refreshingly malty, nutty, with quite a lot of grassy bitterness. Very crisp carbonation, rather thin in the mouth. It’s pretty nice, not my style of beer but I don’t mind it.

Draft @ Kaapse festival. Golden pour. Aroma of grain and some citrus. Taste of fresh grain and citrus. Bit thin, but not bad for this style.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Clear pale straw with very small white head. Sweet fresh malts and bread, soft German hops, light honey, touch of hazelnuts. Light sweet with soft light bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Very pale yellow color with little to no foam. The smell is minimal malty. The taste is light, refreshing, highly carbonated and quite malty. Thin taste in a good way. It is not watered down, but light and with a tart-bitter note to counter the malty sweet part. Well balanced and probably one of the best beers in its style. Very good to drink, but not the most interesting style nonetheless.

Very much in style, classic grains and some Noble hop. Simple and very clean. Dry enough, soft bitter. Too carbonated though, could have been creamier. Also looses it’s head way too early. Still nice to start off the evening. (50cl bottle from Saveur Bière)
