Half, from keg at Craft Beer Co, Islington. Fading white head over a clear golden body. Pale malty aroma with grass. Dusty hops and pale malts in flavour. Smooth ending. Lightly oily palate. Clean and soft in the mouth. Easy going (London, 26.11.2012).

Bottle, 0.50l. shared with Patrick. Pours clear pale golden with small frothy white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma is citric, floral, herbal and bready. Taste starts with light sweet biscuit malt, follows bready and mild fruity, mouthfeel is crisp, while finish is mild grassy bitter. Light body, thin texture and lively carbonation in palate. Drinkable, but nothing else...

Bottle. Clear light golden color. Aroma: fine spicy (German?) hops, a little fruit, malt. Taste: pure, watery, malty, slightly hoppy, really like a Kölsch.

Poured very pale, straw like, with no head what so ever. I didn’t like this at all to be honest. Maybe mine had turned, judging by some of the other reviews? Didn’t smell too clever. Had an almost rubbery taste to it? Thornbridge do some absolutely cracking beers, but this one wasn’t for me unfortunately.

Clear gold with a nice white head. Aroma grainy, with just a touch of nobel hops. Taste light, grainy, and with a herbal note on the palate

Bottle. Easy drinking well balanced classic Kolsch. Thin body, subtle aroma and flavour of grainy malt, German hops and fruity esters. Very good, mostly for its refreshing quality.

Golden color with small white head. Malty, Grammy aroma with fruity tartness. Grainy taste with light spices, yeast, light sourness in finish. Good.

20-Ar-2016-0,5L Flasche. Helleres Goldgelb, klar, weisser Schaum. Aroma Getreide, leicht fruchtig/Aprikose. Antrunk getreidig, etwas fruchtig/blumig, trocken, spritzig, im Ausklang etwas Hopfenbitterkeit. Stil gut getroffen!

Aroma: gentle floral, sulfury, gentle diacetyl, gentle breadiness. Everything is quite gentle but well balanced. Apperance: pale, clear, white head, good retention. Taste: bready, gentle floral&fruity, medium bitterness, lightly dry. Mouthfeel: light body, ok carbonation, slick feel, slightly dry finish. Overall: Interesting beer, well balanced with some faults that are not that important to the overall perception of the beer- but for the super high price range of thornbridge there are cheaper and better alternatives.
