On tap @ Henrik. A near clear nice golden one with a medium sized heavy lacing white top. The nose is really fruity, some spicy tones, hay and melon sweetness. Actually quite nice. In the taste it’s more fruity, with a light sweet taste. It’s soft oily on the mouthfeel and it has a below average carbonation level. Really spicy actually and it gives a hint of alcohol. Nutmeg and cloves spices the thing up a couple of knots. Some soap and a quite peppery finish and aftertaste. Fair enough I guess. 05.07.2013

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours light golden with a big creamy off white head. Aroma is sweet, strange and fruity with a obvious banana presence, as well as lychee, flowers and citrus and some malty notes of toffee. Normal body with quite soft carbonation. Flavour is tart with lots of fruit such as apricot and orange peel, as well as some yeast lingering through the finish.

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Hazy orange body, medium white creamy head Belgian ale yeast, banana, spices, hints of bread dough and biscuits. Mild bready banana tones, grains, yeast, hints of pepper. Medium to full body, medium carbonation. Nice and easy going saison.

Aroma: A slight pepper note but predominantly a herb character that's quite savoury. Taste: Peppery/Spicey slightly sour but pleasantly so. At the tail off there's a very welcomed return of those herbal notes. Would like for the herbal character to be a little bit more present on the palate but a great representation of the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Appearance: Hazy orange, thick quickly diminishing white head. Aroma: Yeast, farmhouse floor, slightly sweet yet sour, a little dusting of pepper. Flavour: big spicy flavour at first, makes way to some sourness, a little yeasty with a good lacing of hops, long lasting hop and yeast finish. Quite nice.

Keg Craft Beer Co N1 London 04/03/13. A hazy golden beer with a white head and lace. Lots of banana and rye notes. Slightly funky in the mouth but not by the expected standards of a Saison. Reasonable but certainly needs more funk.
