3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tap at Angels Trumpet. Woody aroma from a deep brown body and off white head. Nice smokey roasted flavor. Toasted malts seem as apparent as the hops early in but the hops come through with soft bitterness.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Pours a really dark brown with reddish hues sitting under an ample head of off white foam.
Big notes of pine and roasted malt in the smell. Some chocolate of the dark variety.
Tastes even better than it smells. I get some pineapple out of the hops that are used.
Gloriously smooth on the palate and very easy drinking.
A marvelous brew!

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Very deep brown body with a large, creamy, fully lasting beige head that laces the glass excellently. Very strong aroma of roasted malt, sweet caramel, and plenty of hoppy notes of the generically fruity kind. Strong flavour that follows the aroma, with a bit more contributions from the tropics in the fruit basket. Light sweet taste with a quite heavy bitter long-lasting finish. Mid-bodied and dry on the palate. Delicious!
[sample from tap, probably shared with some guys @ Haand ølfestival, Drammen]

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottled. A very dark, red-brown, almost black beer with a small, light brown head. A great mixture of coffee, chocolate, pin,e and yellow fruits on the nose. A combination of sweet fruit flavours from the hops and a rich body of coffee and chocolate, followed by a very dry, slightly smoky, coffee finish. Perfect balance of flavours, warmth, and bitterness. Fantastic!

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer and Beyond, Tel Aviv. Clear deep brownish with medium beige head. The aroma is very creamy and hoppy, notes of garlic, floral, some fruitiness and citrus, notes of roasted malt, a bit soapy with hint of licorice. Very complex flavor, hoppy, somewhat buttery, grassy, notes of roasted malt and citrus, soapy, moderate bitterness. Moderate carbonation, medium to full-bodied. Excellent.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond shop. Pours brown-black with a big beige head and beautiful lacing. Pleasant aroma of roasted malt, tropical fruits and grapefruit. Starts sweet with notes of caramel, coffee, more green hops with high bitterness, a bit of buttery notes (Sorachi hops?). Medium-bodied, oily, nice and complex.
