White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Cask at CP&K. It pours very pale straw yellow, with a decent white head. The nose is cheesy hop, lemon, white bread, hay and floral. The taste is lemon, lime, white bread, grass, floral and light cheese, with a long, moderate bitter finish. Light body, soft carbonation and foamy mouth-feel. Easy drinking and full of flavour for the percentage. Decent.

Draught at the Rake. Very light blond colour. Looks very watery. Small whote head that stays all the way down the glass. Not much aroma, maybe just slightly herbal. Taste is very crisp with dominant herbal character. Bit like a sparkling mineral water. Texture is strange, no bubbles but bit prickly/spritzy.

Well done golden ale with a nice white head, light, refreshing character with dominating hop notes. Well balanced with a fine malt center. The smell was clear, not to much hop though, the taste however was underlined with a noble hop texture. Characterful beer for lovely summer evenings

Very pale straw colored pour. The aroma is great. Lots of fresh zesty hops. Bright spice and an almost noble zestiness. A touch of floral hop aroma. Bright and zesty. Lovely and light. Really a very tasty pint.

(Rating #3737)

(500ml Bottle) this and their Kipling ale emphatically put the pale in pale ale Pretty god damn pale . I’ll say the flavours plod subdued but pleasantly . Lemony hops and stale subtle grapefruit zest . Pedestrian .but decent.

500 ml bottle@home: pours a slightly hazy, lightest imaginable golden colour with a white head, smells very slightly skunked, bottle is good until 27.6.2011 – this is probably quite a bit past its prime, slightly sweet with some light fruits with a mild bitter citrus aftertaste, bit flowery, faith grassy hops in the aroma & all the way in the back of the aftertaste, I can imagine this making an amazing session beer, insanely drinkable

Cask at The Malt and Hops. Pours a very pale light yellow colour with a decent white head. Fruity, grassy hop aroma with passion fruit and barley notes. Passion fruit flavour again with a sweet sugary quality and barley. Mild bitterness and a clean, citrusy finish.
