White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Bottle from Waitrose. Very pale gold, clear. Lemony hops, quite bitter. Very refreshing, and a lot lower abv than Kipling so eminently sessionable!

50cl bottle. Pours pale lemon and has very gentle bubbles and a slim white head. Nose of white flowers, lemon/grapefruit (but gentle). Taste of lemon and grapefruit with quite a drying/refreshing yoghurt finish. Overall, a decent refreshing scoop - fairly drying though!

Thanks to PeaceRich for sharing these. This one was a nice surprise! Hoppy aromas of grass, flowers and minerals. Quite bitter and dry. Some light malt in the background. Hoppy and refreshing taste with light citrus notes. Long and pleasant bitterness towards the end. Really enjoyable!

Botte from Waitrose. Pours a light golden colour with a thin white head, plenty of citrus flavours in the aroma, the taste has a touch of bitterness with a dry finish.

Bpahchhrrkchdu. That is the point where my iPhone stopped suggesting spelling corrections. it’s almost hard to tell I have a beer in my glass - lets skip this topic. X-rays <---- my attempt at the word ’the’ thx to spell check. The aroma is airy - light fruit close to melon, lemon, faint vegetables - not the wheel chair variety, tangerine, grains. The flavor is also light with dull bitterness kind of taking over. Spicy sharp citrus earth done. Bitter dirt finish. Waste of money.

0.5 l bottle at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Pale golden color. Aromas of lemony, resiny and slightly sweaty hops. Lemony and flowery flavor with pepper and hint of honey. Some salty minerals and bitterness in finish. Light bodied. Quite summery and refreshing.

Bottle at home. Pours a thin cloudy white gold / yellow with a yellowy white head. There is a sweet chardonnay aroma and a light floral grassiness here and it seems more of a light cider / white wine than a beer. It is quite light and fizzy on the palate. The taste is fresh zesty and resonant of a white wine with its floral green apple notes. This beer dries quite agressively on the palate like a brut wine, but there is a slight foaminess in there too.
