Cask Bon Accord Glasgow. Pours palest of golden hues. Tight lacing head and waft of peaches and apricots dominate the nose. Donít know what hops are in this but taste is pure pink grapefruit and banana with a whopping kick for this ABV.
Why canít more brewers produce ales lpacked with flavour at this stregnth.
Runs Fyne Jarl a close one for best ale of this year.. .

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a very pale, golden hue. Mild carbonation with a peppery hop aroma. Flavour is a crisp, light malt base as citrus fruits abound without becoming overpowering. As usual from Thronbridge, a very nicely balanced and refined beer and very refreshing on the palate. As it says on the bottle, summer in glass and great for a warm afternoon.

2.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Very light with notes of hay and lemon. Finishes with a bit of bitterness, might be nice for a patio on a warm day. Not enough of a flavour profile to suite my palate though.

Bottle from Waitrose. Very pale gold, clear. Lemony hops, quite bitter. Very refreshing, and a lot lower abv than Kipling so eminently sessionable!

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
50cl bottle. Pours pale lemon and has very gentle bubbles and a slim white head. Nose of white flowers, lemon/grapefruit (but gentle). Taste of lemon and grapefruit with quite a drying/refreshing yoghurt finish. Overall, a decent refreshing scoop - fairly drying though!
