White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Cask @ CPK. Can’t believe I hadn’t rated this yet! Light golden color with no head. The nose is light grass and lemon-kissed mild grains. Soft nose. The taste is light hoppy angel food cake, sugar, a bit of floral herbs and peach. Light white toast. Light body. Soft carbonation. OK

Aroma di agrumi, prevalentemente pompelmo, con note erbacee e di geranio. Corpo watery, buona acidità e ottima luppolatura

Bottle: Poured a lightly hazy blonde color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and some good lacing. Aroma of citrus and sweet malt with light floral notes is a bit off as too much citrus is apparent. Taste is also dominated by underlying citrus notes which are bit too powerful and don’t necessarily seems to originated form the latest fresh West Coast hops. Malt base is solid with light floral notes and limited sweetness. Body is quite full with good carbonation. Not bad but way too much citrus notes with light sour notes.

500 ml bottle. Pale golden colour. Crystal clear. Small white fine-laced head. Crisp floral hops aroma with hints of citrus. Refreshing bitterness against a light bodied beer. Even though it is very light there is a lot of flavour in the beer. A great session beer that packs a punch.

Draught at The Southern. Very pale with a white head. Faint floral aroma. Flavour was watery hops - a litle too restrained for me.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a clear golden colour with a white foamy head. Aroma of grassy hops, hay and sweetish caramel. Flavour of grassy, floral hops, caramel, hay, tangy lemon and grapefruit. Light bodied, slick mouthfeel and a rough, bitter, grapefruity finish. Very enjoyable and highly sessionable.

Bottle. Gushed upon opening, but poured to a hazy light straw with large bubbly top which mostly disappeared. Light grapefruit and malt on the nose. Citrus in the mouth, night and light and matches what the ABV is telling you. Leaves a nice tingle of bitter and spice in the palate too. Quite a thriller at this ABV, and lovely for a hot summers day.

50 cl bottle @ home, BBE 16.10.2012
Aroma has some harsh, lager‐like grainy malt. Also some hops, sweetish peaches and hints of hay. Flavour has rather much hops, some peaches, lemon and grainy malt. Refreshing and surprisingly good when looking at the ABV. Good for sessions like the description says.
