White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

UPDATED: AUG 14, 2012 Light yellow in colour, with a frothy with head. Lots of fresh yeast, lemon, white bread and a tiny sour note. Super refreshing, with a strong bitterness from start to finish. Lots of flavour, especially for a beer with such a low ABV. Sure, there isn?t much more to it, but the bitter stuff is great in this beer. Highly recommanded for every hot day, or just when thirsty. (50cl bottle, 4,20 EUR)

14/I/2012 50cl bottle @ RBBWG 2012 - BB: 19/VI/12 (2012-35) Thanks to Bart for bringing the bottle!

Very pale clear yellow beer, small white head, dissipates immediately. Aroma: citrus, bit cheesy, fresh cheese or sour cream, smelly feet. MF: good carbon, light body. Taste: bitter, very herbal, bit grassy, resinous, cheesy too. Aftertaste: pretty bitter, touch of citrus, not dry though.

Sampled @ RBBWG Antwerpen. Courtesy of Bart. Clear pale yellow color, small white head. Nice aroma of malts, citrus, hops and bitter. Taste fresh, bitter, hops and malts. Decent carbonation, low to medium body.

Good snowwhite head over very pale golden beer. Nice aromatic USA hops, fruity as passion fruit and flowery, slightly resiny; bit of lemon. Bitter hoppy, fruity and lightly herbal beer with an underbuild of pale grains. Obviously very light body, but spritzy and challenging. Nice in an absolute way, crazily good relatively speaking for a 3.5% beer; respect!

Can be pleasant, but on far too many occurrences, I have had a poorly kept, bitter version - even in pubs known for keeping their beers well.

50cl bottle.

500ml bottle. Clear pale yellow with incompact but relatively stable white head. Intense floral and citrus aroma. Floral, juicy taste with a not really more than water malt basis. Bitter hoppy finish. 3.5abv is not to deny, taste rests almost completely on the hop part.

500ml brown bottle. Very pale lemon yellow in colour, light haze. Full white head, lots of rocky foam. Nose has some light lemon, green grapes and grass. Taste is of dry bready malt/wheat, good dose of grassy hops and a little sweet citrus below. Nice bitterness, long hoppy fade out, the aftertaste is dry and grassy. Light body and soft carbonation. Refreshing, light and drinkable. I hope I can find this fresh in the summer.

Bottle from MyBrewerytap.com. Pours almost clear light straw coloured with a small fluffy white head. Aroma of floral hops. Taste is surprisingly rich for this low abv. Dry grapes, fresh apples with a smooth and fizzy mouthfeel. Ends quite dry, spicy and resiny hops. Very good beer.

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK via Waitrose. Very pale gold, frothy head. Yeast, lemon zest and ginger aroma. Light body, decent flavour level. Almost creamy with an effervescent backing, Slight spice on the finish, more bright lemon-hops and medium in length. Very nice.
