White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Cask: Golden blonde colour. For a beer this light, it has a very fine creamy texture, not watery at all. Mild earthy hoppiness, and very balanced overall. Not a lot going on, still a thoroughly well-made beer.

Bottle. Pours clear light yellow, with a nice creamy head. Pleasant crisp and hoppy aroma, which despite a slight metallic bite showcase herbs and citrusy notes, as well as fresh tropical notes of litchi and kiwis. Light body, with fizzy carbonation. Flavour is crisp herbal hops, with citrus, litchi, berries and grassy notes, as well as some balancing, bready malts. Crisp and quaffable, with an almost pilsnerish touch to it.

Cask @ Small Bar, Bristol. Clear golden colour with a small but stable white head. It’s got a light nose and taste of cereal malts, some lemony citrus and peppery spiciness. Smooth and sessionable with a light body and carbonation.

Bottle. Mitchell’s Wines, Sheffield. One of those that you thought you must have already rated. Very pale, green tinged, straw colour. Light haze. Minimal, white head. Nose has soft, sweet grain. Lime juice. Citrus peel. Taste is light bitter. Some dryness. Light body. Crisp carbonation. Light bitter finish, that dries out at the end.

Delft 29-04-2016, flink gegist Enorme tegenvaller! Andere bieren van Thornbridge tot nu toe super. Dit is echt een slap biertje. Waterig en weinig smaak aan. Citrus smaak maar alles behalve bijzonder.

50cl bottle. Clear pale yellow colour with a thin white head that quickly turns into a lacing. Grain, fruit and honey in the aroma. Average carbonation and light body. Taste is light bitter and light sweet. Overall, a nice refreshing beer.

Good, but very simple summer ale. Light pale color with a foam that goes away quickly. Aroma of hops and herbs. Light hops, cut grass, white bread in the taste.

500 ml bottle, BB date 04.04.2014, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 3.5%. Crystal clear and very pale yellow colour, large white head. Moderate but pleasant aroma of crushed gooseberries, herbs and citrus. Light bodied as expected, medium dry and crisp, with moderate notes of herbal hops.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Pale straw, small white head. Aroma feel watery, but not hopelessly. Mostly grassy and lemony, some fruity and flowery notes, white bread and a touch honey sweetness. The taste is also on the verge of being watery. Hops upfront, herbal and lemony, some CO2 acidity. Almost now malts and a moderate grassy and piney finish. Not bad for its gravity.

Clear, very pale yellow color with foam layer. The smell is light and fresh flowery with citrus flavor. The taste is light and crisp with little body and a full flavor of fruity flowery hopping. Light dry and tiny bit acidic aftertaste. Great beer especially in the range of low abv beers.
