White Gold Pale Ale
Wild Swan is white gold in colour with aromas of light bitter lemon, a hint of herbs and a subtle spiciness. A great refreshing beer.

Cask: Golden blonde colour. For a beer this light, it has a very fine creamy texture, not watery at all. Mild earthy hoppiness, and very balanced overall. Not a lot going on, still a thoroughly well-made beer.

BOTTLE 50 CL. Pale straw, small white head. Aroma feel watery, but not hopelessly. Mostly grassy and lemony, some fruity and flowery notes, white bread and a touch honey sweetness. The taste is also on the verge of being watery. Hops upfront, herbal and lemony, some CO2 acidity. Almost now malts and a moderate grassy and piney finish. Not bad for its gravity.

Clear, very pale yellow color with foam layer. The smell is light and fresh flowery with citrus flavor. The taste is light and crisp with little body and a full flavor of fruity flowery hopping. Light dry and tiny bit acidic aftertaste. Great beer especially in the range of low abv beers.

Clear pale golden color with white head. Aroma is fruity, lemony, some sweeter tropical fruits. Light malts & straw behind it. Taste is more lemons and tropical fruits, light malts & straw backbone. Very refreshing. Fizzy carbonation. A good summer aperitif.

Cask @The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh. Pours yellow, pale yellow, white head. Nose is bland, waited 5 minutes still bland, slight grapefruit, some cheese, touch of lemon but you have to go hunting out these smells.Taste is like lemon cordial, cheap lemon and lime cordial, touch of caramel at the end. Without checking i believe this to be the worst Thornbridge beer iíve ever tasted and iím a big fan.

500ml bottle served in a pint glass. Pours an absolutely clear pale yellow color forming a big and aired white head with great retention and lots of soapy lacings formed and left in the glass. Nose is very crispy and herby. Notes of sweet pale malts, Maris Otter, grass, herbs, orange zest and resin. Taste follows the nose: Sweet crispy pale malts, Maris Otter, grass, herbs, orange zest and resin. Earthy notes. In overall, a dry and light bitter taste. Light body, strong carbonation. Herby and grassy hops in the aftertaste. Great drinkability. Good stuff.

Cask @ Bishops Arms, Hornsgatan. Just a bit hazy, pale golden with a small white head. Fruity aroma, orange, lemon and spearmint. Light and dry mouthfeel almost no carbonation. Fresh citrus taste, tropical fruits and some earthy hops. Refreshing!
