COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION Cask: Special - 2008 Caragold, pale rye, amber and pale ale malts work in combination to give us a fantastic golden ale with delicious biscuity characters and a body and warmth suggesting a more powerful beer. A hint of the Burton snatch and light citrus aromas appear on the nose and the fantastic malt character show’s itself in the swallow along with a slow-building warmth and spiciness. The addition of Thornbridge-grown lemongrass and the mysterious Grains of Paradise combine to give a multi-faceted beer that is more complex than its strength implies!
