3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Draft at brewpub, 9/1/05: Pale yellow with a thin head. Very starchy with a grassy citrus tinge. Starchy aroma, too. At first I was turned off, but it’s OK to style I s’pose.

Sample at the bew pub and growler. Hazy gold with a thin head. This one did lose just a bit of carbonation during the "ride home" but still had enought to be well appreciated. Rather agressively hopped for this style. I typically find most pils somewhat watery and boring but the extra bitterness and light haze from being unflitered give this beer a bit of character. Very refreshing and one I would enjoy again. Very nice.

UPDATED: JAN 29, 2005 Growler... Lightly hazy, deep yellow lager with a small, fizzy, white head. Cool, glue-like, stratus lacing. The nose is all straw, lemon and corn. Extremely well-hopped for a pils. Lacks body. Dry and fizzy. Short, crisp, clean finish. Very refreshing and carefully made, but needs more malt... its only flaw. I admit I’m not a big fan of the style, but this one is not half bad. Great Summer session brew. Thanks to Growler for the, umm, err, growler!
