2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
This draft brew from Fort Wayne’s Scotty’s Brewhouse poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a uncarbonated transparent orange colored body and a fair lacing. The mild aroma was hoppy. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish with a medium hoppy aftertaste. The mild flavor contained notes of hops. An OK brew just nothing special.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Rated on 10-24-214 at Scotty’s Brewhouse (Fort Wayne, IN) The appearance of this draft beer is a small off-white head that is mostly lasting, golden mostly transparent/slightly hazy body, no visible carbonation, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus hops, fruity and malt. The flavor mimics the aroma along with a moderate bitterness. The mouthfeel is light carbonation and this APA is light bodied. This beer is quaffable with a light lingering bitterness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Draft on tap at the brewpub (Indianapolis Broad Ripple, IN). Pours a nice deep amber pour, firmer haze meet some darker glow overall. A bit brownish. A frothy whitish head atop dies down to a frothy ring, laces small, sticks around small. Aromas show citrusy life, grapefruit and lemon meet some gentle florals, bready malts and a touch more sweetness. Some mellow grain, touches of biscuit. Firmer hop nose. Initial is lighter end of medium bodied, a firm lemony and grapefruit bite up front, a bit juicy with some good florals, gentle grass. Bready mellow malt profile. Middle is still firmly grapefruit rind, some florals, gentle bready malts. Never really gets sweet, perhaps a touch of crisp cereal into the backend but this thing shows firm citrusy grapefruit life throughout. Some florals, richer rind, a bit juicy and lush in flashes. Perhaps a bit thicker up front but this is nice. Finish is dry, bitter, lingering florals and citrus. Nice stuff. Best beer I rated on tap here today.

Possibly the most complimentary to an appetizer or pizza. Fairly straightforward with a sweetness that is balanced by brief hop presence.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a transparent irange with white lacing. Smells and tastes of nicely balanced hops with a pleasant pale malt backbone. Nice on the palate. Enjoyable.
