2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 WozWx (56) - Lafayette, Indiana, USA - DEC 18, 2012Fairly good light ale. Not a whole lot of taste other than a smokey after taste. Wouldn’t go out of my way to have it again.

Light, citrusy. Easy to drink, and easy to forget. By the style it’s nothing exciting, but that doesn’t mean it’s not good.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Nephilium (1152) - Ohio, USA - MAR 30, 2012
Slightly sweet aroma, with hints of wheat and a touch of earthy hops. Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow, with a full white head. Hints of wheat, earthiness, a bit of spice, and a little bit of a metallic off taste. Very light on the palate, and drinkable. It’s not a bad beer, just a bit off.

Sample at the brewpub today around lunchtime. Pours a clear yellow color with a medium white head. Aroma of peppery Belgian yeast with banana and sweet malt notes. Flavor starts with sweet malt, then moves to peppery and spicy yeast before a sweet banana finish.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Dogbrick (6042) - Columbus, Ohio, USA - NOV 11, 2011
Sample at the brewpub. The beer pours a slightly hazy yellow-gold color with a thin white head that burns away quickly. Spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma of mild noble hops and malt. Light body with flavors of grainy malt and lightly spicy hops. The finish is short and mildy bitter. Fairly typical introductory type beer overall.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheAlum (4289) - Lisle, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2011
Sampler flight at the brewery (Indianapolis, IN). Pours a hazy straw hue, glowing, with a decent sized bright white head atop. Frothy thicker film laces ok. Aromas are straw and flaked wheat, touches of vanilla and banana, estery fruit and cereal grains. A touch of pear. Initial is clean and light bodied. Cereal grains and bread, touches of bread yeast, some fruity pear, faint banana, lingering touch of cool vanilla. Light bread yeast spice. Touches of coriander, light mellow fruit. Finish is clean and lingering yeast. An odd sessioner in my eyes, kinda a wheaty golden ale hybrid. It’s not bad, but I’d rather drink one or the other.
